Why doesn't the pause boost also apply to boosts during that 5min kick off after 6hrs

Jus saying it seems like alot recently i been gettin kicked off with 20-30mins of boost, prolly because i like to come on, harrass my clanmates, for a bit catch up, than get to boostin, leaving me with an odd 20-30mins of boost time after a kick off, itd be nice if the boost would pause for ANY occasion where the GAME kicks u off against ur will.

just to clarify no problem with the 6hr kickoff, i get it that, this needs to be in place to keep bases circulating, and all that jazz, this is specifically about how it doesn't pause any boosted time upon kick, like it would pause with a server maintainence break.

Maintenance is something you hold no control of whatsoever, with possibly little or no warning.
You choose when to boost, and should have a rough idea of how long youve been on for. Over 4 hours screen poking is a good while for your boost to be cut short by break kick. Unless of course youre one of those dirty rats that doesnt live in fear of the timeout cos dishonestly circumvent it.

To prevent people from abusing that feature? :/

The fact that the boost timer keeps running is for you to "feel the kick in the kick that the game gave you":rolleyes:.

On a serious note, it's debatable. You staying online for six hours legitimately also means someone is doing the same illegitimately. No boost for them.

Though, why should the sincere ones be punished for the ones who ♥♥♥♥♥? So, I do agree that they should pause the boost time when you are kicked "by the game".

There is no way staying for 6 hrs staring at the mobile screen continuously can be healthy for you. If you are staring at the clouds for 6 hrs, you definitely need to stop playing clash for a while xd. It's the games way of saying

"Enough is enough! Don't play for so long. Take a five minute break, relax and come back. Oh! Boost wisely next time Trolololololol"

To tell you to go outside and have a life.

Because it's something can manage yourself. If you begin a boost after you've been playin for 4hrs, expect to lose part of that boost.

thats very much how it is, but i'm questioning if thats how it should be? clearly they have the ability to pause the boost, they get my money either way, its not like i can "abuse" this feature and somehow magically get free time... im jus saying gimme what i paid for, in it's entirety.

@the kid who questioned the legitimacy, i assure u, on days where u have nothing to do (about 1 a week, i have no classes, no work, and most of my friends are in class/work til night time), so i get LEGITimately kicked off the game ~1x a week, i don't think u have to use suspect methods to remain on the game u love to play....

now i know i just said this happens 1x a week, so once a week i lose 20-30mins of boost, but that stuff adds up over time, once a week, every week for say 10 weeks, and thats 3-5hrs of boost lost, boost that i paid for. (i am a gemmer to some extent, i love to boost racks)

I think you mean 7 minutes of boost.
Of course SC has an incentive to make you waste your boost, that way some people will boost again.
The pause only happens when SC takes your boost, when you get kicked that is under your control.
Breaks can last hours, that cannot be compared to 7 minutes, also some people woulddnt want the boos to be paused as 7 boosted minutes is enough to train their army, but if it was paused then they would come back to half empty camps.

since u know sc didnt give u control of pausing the boost. from now onwards or rather the time u found it out, u should just boost it wisely/smartly. u know u already spend 5-5.5 hours, just log off for 8-10mins for it to reset and log back in and boost. Seriously i dont see any issue here. if you're that hardcore of farmer i would still suggest after boosting 2 times take a break, dont hurt your eyes so much.. lol

The 6 hour policy is not very clear... I've played 3 hours and then took 20 mins break and then played another 3 hours but still get kicked off... so is the 6 hours accumulated game play? Either way, SC should pause boosting if they kick you off. You've paid for 2 hours boost time, so you should get the full 2 hours, if not request for refund.
