Cancelling War

The costs to surrender would reflect how much loot your base would have been worth to opponents

If this guys clan surrenders before i had a chance to attack, his individual liability would be the amount shown. The only way that amount is not charged is if, like in this case, i already attacked him and 3 starred him. If his clan were to surrender now, he owes nothing. If someone hasn't been attacked, they owe the money direct from their storage. If any one person doesnt have enough to cover this fee, the clan cannot surrender

I think op only wants to surrender during prep day.

I agree with your proposed loot penalty, but I also think if you surrender, you should still have your war eligibility timer, maybe extended for an extra day. 3 day timer and a few hundred thousand resource penalty ought to minimize exploitation

As you are asking the member who has 0 gold and elixir will have 20 troops deleted or can not request troops. Another question is that if a member has no troops at all what will that person lose? The answer is that whenever he gets elixir or gold that gold or elixir is deducted from collectors and in-return show 0 gold and elixir until the penalty is received...:p

Judging by what I read, this is your problem, not a problem with the game. If you have to bribe people with co-leader status, then you are allowing your clan to be exploited. These kind of players are usually just jerks who get pleasure out of screwing other players over for fun.

Kick them out of the clan. If anyone ever threatens to leave over not being promoted, tell them to go pound sand.

Even if cancelling is added, what's to stop those same co-leaders from cancelling the war when you don't want?

In my opinion, this idea makes no sense.
Looks like you wish to have this feature because you are getting too strong
enemies. And with this function, you want get low enemies.
But then, don't you think the low enemy will cancel the war against you?

Everytime, either you or the enemy will cancel the war
because it's almost impossible that both clans will be happy about their oponent.
and there won't be any wars anymore.

War will be cancelled when both clans agree. When one clan clicks cancel, the other clan will get a notification that the enemy clan wants to surrender. The other clans leader can accept to cancel war but the loot will only be deducted by the clan who pressed the surrender button first.

Okay, so now you're back to square one. Think about why those players demanded co-leader status. If they don't have the same powers as the leader, then co-leader status is meaningless and they'd have left your clan anyway.

All your doing is removing co-leader status from the game, making them glorified elders.

And when the other clan leader declines your surrunder, then what? You're going to be annoyed because you have to fight a war that you didn't want to, whilst the other clan is probably having a good laugh at how cowardly you are.

I don't want to start filling my war castles just to have the opponent cancel. At the very least it would require the leader from BOTH clans to cancel it. I doubt if you appear to be a substantially weaker clan your opponent will oblige though. Easy wars where we can farm half of our attacks provide a substantial momentary loot boost.

All in all I agree with the other posters. This is a clan management issue and your proposed solution would create worse problems. Just polish your boots on the south facing end of their north facing mule and be happy your clan has one less problem.
