So use some WB to help them.
You don't need giants to be successful in war either.
Now I know there are those players who make all air bombers and dragons and use maybe 5 total classes but to those whom enjoy a strategy process where all classes are viable and we can see the creativeness of each other's attacks is important and to me more then the all dragon Zerg elitist troops only way of thinking
So you like using multiple troops - so use more WB to support your giants. You say you like to use strategy, so instead of demanding giants be made stronger use additional troops to support them.
Wall breakers are great but should be complimented by another class if you fail to bring those specific troops through the fire and they die before they reach the wall in which I watch all the time in my double inner layered base system I don't believe thier other troops should be rendered ineffective
Troops should compliment each other and work to an organized strategy, rather then being entirely dependent in each other for survival this only leads to people not complicating the situation and going with all air attacks I've seen so many attacks on my base that were decent in principle fail because they lost thier bombers due to aoe dps
How people attack is up to them. If someone decided to attack with an all dragon army then that is up to them.
The giant/WB combination would compliment say wizards and archers who will be able to go through the hole in the wall instead of trying to blast their own way through.
People choose to go all dragons because it's effective it's not a personal love of seeing the dragons fly across the screen for 2 mins. Now if we make other classes as viable we would see more strats. If wbs and giants worked well together when was the last time you saw an entire a giant army? Now when was the last all dragon attack on your base. That's my point you don't see it because if it was balanced you would see it. Simple enough I believe
You don't see an entire giant army because they are used primarily against walls and are slow. They wouldn't destroy a base in 3 mins due to their lack of pace. Even if you gave the giants double strength against walls they would still not 3 star a base in 3 minutes.
You see all dragon armies because they do not have to go through walls. They can be defended against by placing strong AD in the centre of your base and having well hidden teslas. It's very rare that my TH8 base gets 3 starred by an all dragon army when the drags are level 3. The dragons also have a mind of their own and tend to skirt around the base instead of going directly to the centre.
You say Wb's blast a hole in which the dps can move forward with but with a deAd wb due to a wizard tower. The dps and giants build up and get obliterated by 1 mortor sad to see an entire army collapse due to one mortor and a dead wb. Not saying it's not your job either to get that wb to the wall either simple Prut it is but for that to be the one defunding point of your attack being successful seems unbalanced. To your previous comment giants doing double damage to walls is still very little damage compared to WBs but enough to have them eventually break through
I have never had any giants destroyed by one mortar shot. You clearly need to be more clever in how you use giants/WB combination if they are all getting destroyed by the same mortar.
Your right you giants beat against the wall your army dies and lucky you the giants lived. Because now they have no dps to back em up. Your commenting on all my threads and not ever covering the issues you jump to I wouldn't use that or my giants live and lose sight at the big picture your army with dies die to a Couple of aoe wizard tower/ mortor shots
as you could see in my signature, I use giants a lot. If you have a large group of giants and a heal spell they can get through a lv8 wall just fine. But with higher level walls (or just all lv walls) you should always bring wall breakers. 8-12 wall breakers is good. Plus giants are like a low level golem, they soak up damage, but they don't deal much damage. If they could deal high levels of damage then they would be OP.
Jump spells are great but shouldn't be needed just to use giants nor should WBs. The fact that the giant has no case as a stand alone piece without the need for heavy assistance is just a lose for the game if we have the extra character let's make him more effective I don't know where doubling damage for giants with very little damage to begin with and only vs what spend most of thier time attacking walls with high hit points . You could spread jump spells around the base I which double damage to walls wouldn't matter the jump spell is nice but the giant needs to be stronger not every battle should require spells nor should any troop be dependent on one another they should compliment not own each other
You can't use most troops on their own. Ever tried all minion? Doesn't go well. Nor does all gob, all pekka, all wizard, all valk, all golem, all witch, and all lava hound. Like those other troops Giants are not supposed to use Giants on their own, but rather add them to some strategy u use
Giants are a pretty effective troop and while they're not good enough for people to use at high leagues, they definitely don't need to do double damage. Level 6 giants are hard enough to defend against as it is... If you want to get past walls, take some wall breakers or a jump spell with you when you attack. :p
