depends if u use them often
Generally I use them for war and overnight builds. I was going to upgrade my valk as these are the next most expensive troop upgrade but decided that was lazy as I never use them so am gonna focus on golems!
So in short, yes, as long as you use them.
Golems are great for clan wars, so upgrading them is definitely worth it. The only thing I dislike about golems is that I use them in pairs to shield for wizards, so I try to get one on the left and one on the right so all sides of defenses go after them... but a golem has the tendency to walk away from the attack spot when a section of wall is broken, and even when milliseconds later you break the section you want the golem to go into, they will not retarget back which is annoying because they double up leaving wizards exposed to defenses.
