Best league for dark elixier?

C3 wont cut it if you want DE. I'm down in C2 atm and there is nothing here for DE.

Upgrading AQ to lvl10 is easier if you are in in c2-c3 range.

Im in c3 now and i've gotten my AQ from 1 or 4 and im back at 20k DE in about a week(Not being able to play much becsuae I work 10hr shifts 4/5 days a week.)
C3 is a decent plays in my opinion.
