GoWiWi or GoWipe or Dragons

As the title suggests...... I am tired of "Dragon Wars" and want to try GoWiWi and/or GoWiPe. Which one is most effective? One better than the other?

I have the following:
- Lvl 1 Golems
- Lvl 3 PEKKAs
- Lvl 6 Giants
- Lvl 5 Wizards
- Lvl 2 Witches
- Lvl 5 Wall Breakers
- Lvl 6 Archers and Barbs
- Lvl 3 Dragons
- Lvl 6 Balloons
- Lvl 3 Hogs
- Lvl 3 Mininons

So back to the question at hand..... which attack has the best chances to succeed? (GoWiWi or GoWiPe)
Would Giants be better than Golems ? (After all I could do 12 Giants vs 2 Golems)

Finally, when Scouting out your enemy (War) what should I look for or avoid ?
- Really spread out base (or maybe these attacks do well with these)?
- Really tight base with over-lapping defenses (opposite of spread out) ?

Be ready to get tired of golem wars... What TH are you? I see lots of th9 do 2 golem, then get a max golem from a clan mate if your CC can hold it, if not a max pekka or 2 witches. Add in 15-18 wiz, 3-4 witches then fill out rest as you like. They tend to get 2-3 star pretty consistently against other th9s. If youre th10 then I wouldn't even bother until your golem is higher.

Why gowipe when you can govape :cool:

But I preferred Valks than witches.
Valks are great with dealing with un-lured CC inside the base coupled with jump spell if you didn't manage to break the central wall.

If you are fighting a TH10, you should have a mandatory 5-10 archers to clear any defenseless structures once the dust settled when your main troops are gone, because it tends to be usually around 45%~ destruction when you use this setup.

I say GOWIPE, however you need to update golems. Get to lvl 4 and you can wipe most th 9 and 2 star any th 10

Gowiwi is ultimately better at th9. Goho and holo are also pretty cool th9 armies. I bet my friend he couldn't 3* 2 bases with 30+ hogs and he destroyed them. It is all doable. Just have to know how to do it.

To point you in the right direction my th9 friend pretty much swears by the youtubers "hulk files" and "one hive".

I have been running this:

2 Golems
2 Wtiches
2 Pekkas
8 wallbreakers
9 Wizards
24 Archers
2 Giants


I use giants to lure CC

archers to kill CC troops

deploy my two golems to go up the flanks (not outside, but the outer ring of the base)

both pekkas in the middle to go straight up the gut (along with BK and AQ)

witches behind golems

wizards behind pekkas mostly centralized


and ALL heal spells

Man getting working on those hogs than golems asap.

If your goal is 3* your best bets are Holowiwi, GoHowiwi, GoLowiwi and Hogs.
IF your just trying to 2 star a weak to mid Th10 than Gowipe or Gowiwi will work though some hardcore war people feel gowiwi is stronger between the two. Not sure how I feel on that personally.

Upgrade golems. Since you will need them a lot in future wars.

Save DE to upgrade Golems, else

A base with a big compartment full of towers and the th inside, Gowipe. Must be able to break into the middle using wb/pekkas and not jump inside. Instead, jump is used last, to get to the towers on the far end of the base otherwise your golems/pekka will be stuck behind a wall, taking damage.

For spread out bases, gowiwi.
Avoid raging the witches too early bc they'll run really fast, right within range of an giant bomb.
