Can you farm gold and elixir in good DE trophy counts?

I just dropped down from farming de at 1500-1600. I was getting 500-4000 de an hour there using a gob archer barb army. I saw a lot of 150k+ gold bases. They were a bit better defended than 1200-1400 trophy bases, but the gold was there. I'm not sure if I could have gotten it with the army I had but I could have if I had giants+healer.

DE is overrated. You don't need it for TH8 other than for barb king upgrades.

Minion upgrades are important too, IMO. I love using minions for revenges etc.

And BK from lvl 5 to 10 needs a lot of DE. The 125,5k DE needed for that made me create this thread. :p
