We should all trap our outside THs

Never done this in over a year and a half of farming. But I needed trophies this week-end so I decided to trap my TH and see what I would get from there.

My TH is far enough from my defs that 5 archers would destroy my TH easily.

I put my 4 level 8 teslas around my TH, with my 3 skeleton traps and 2 spring traps.

Results was interesting:
1) 8 out of 9 people got the TH. Only one missing the TH had 1/3 of his army with him.
2) Only one tried to reach my storages. It was really funny seeing is farm army getting destroyed in a few seconds.
3) Most used around 1/2 of their farming army (60-70 archers, 50-60 barbs).
4) everybody that brought heroes lost them trying to reach the TH

I really think we shouldn't let pushers and farmers an easy targets cause after that they come here and state they can farm insane amounts just because they pick easy targets. I'm not an easy target anymore and if you want that 50k league bonus, it will now take you more than 5 archers or your queen.

The best thing is when there is a 20-30 seconds gab between the first wave and the second wave. Almost like the guy took the time to throw his tablet on the couch :) Priceless :D

I have a lot of loot saved, I'd rather take the easy 12 hour shield than risk someone saying "Screw it, I'm going for the loot" just so I can make it harder on someone?

I'll snipe sometimes if it feels convenient and the loot isn't worth it. Free loot bonus at no expense. But I see those Telsas popup, if the loot is halfway decent, I'll take it all. I mean, my heroes are going to take 40 minutes to sleep thanks to your trapped TH, so I'll just use my Loonion and the next batch will be ready along with my heroes.

I m sure u will not find it funny about attacks when ppl checked ur th is trapped and gone all out and took ur whole loot. Also i m sure u wont share that with clan mates lol.

It always happens every now and then. Even I do that when I find trapped th's lol.

I never snipe so I am not personally interested but trapping your Th that appears exposed seems rather pointless to me. Sort of like going around in the parking lot and putting chewing gum under car door handles. A bit juvenile. If you wanted trophies and were actually getting them it might be different but you said yourself that 8 of 9 people got the TH anyway.

When someone does that to me I get mad and go for as much loot as possible instead of just sniping their TH. I've taken 3-stars or quad-zapped DE storages on principle on bases I would have just given a free shield otherwise. It's a total ♥♥♥♥ move and you're just reducing your defences for battles against armies actually trying to 3-star you.

I would have dropped my entire Gowiwi on your base and taken you for everthing.

Either put your TH outside unprotected for the shield, or leave it in the walls.

Most of the people who took my TH had barch, full arch, or some times between 5-10 giants or hogs. Nobody close to a full push army.

I did it because I had less and 1M of each on me and 10k DE. The risk was minimal.

Still, if I'm worth 400k of each and 3k. Would somebody with full army just take my TH anyway?

I'll leave it like that for a week and see if somebody with a full army will try is luck. With my teslas in the corner, pekka are free to destroy my base.

Nah...... I prefer using those tesla to protect my loot, I also keep traps inside, minimises costs of occasional barcher trying it on.....
If you take my th, cheers for shield...... may see you later with a zap or two......

deploy 5 giants to take the heat, snipe TH with AQ -> profit without hurting your AQ at the expense of 5 giants

If I find trapped th I kill heroes, kill cc and set off as many traps as possible before hitting surrender and leave him weaker for the next attacker. :rolleyes:
