lots of troops I would never cook or even play around with if it weren't for war.

We are a rushers 24/7 war clan and we love war.
Same, we cw lovers don't know why clashers only like farming... why not play hay day instead.
It's simple if you love war that means you are a warrior if you don't you are a farmer.
We want constant war because we find farming tedious, and war brings the clan together in a common purpose. Nobody wants to see a replay of a big farm raid, but everyone wants to watch a three star war attack. I wouldn't want to war all the time in disorganized clan half full of inactives/farmers, but that's not a problem for most constant war clans. The notion that farming is more "profitable" than war doesn't enter into the equation for us. I don't view the game as a race, so if I have to delay a few upgrades because I stock war castles with witches, so be it.
We war constantly because we are competitive and we enjoy it, plain and simple! From reading prior posts, the consistent issue is around the total cost of going to war. To that I say this, war is not for everyone AND it may not be profitable. Here are a few things our war clan does to manage some of the resource concerns from our members:
1) Clan leadership fills the war castles, so it isn't a drain on the rest of the members (usually lower level). This also ensures that the castles are filled with the best troops the clan has available. To keep this from being a drain on any one leader, the clan leaders (5 in total) partner to fill the castles, it is not really that bad (we usually run from 20-35 people).
2) We have a feeder clan for people to drop to when they are not able to war. This gives people an outlet for when they want to conserve resources for a big upgrade or when they are not available to go to war (and keeps a line of communication open). Our feeder clan has actually become the non-war clan for a few clans out there, with membership ranging from <5 up to 30 in any given week.
3) During War, we ask that everyone make specific requests and we will fill to those only (clan leaders will donate a lot of the higher level troops, with others who have them chipping in). Again, the leadership is trying to reduce the cost impact to the rest of the clan.
The number one reason is because war is fun.
As an added incentive u can make loot. If u want to war back to back then join a good war clan. One that wins 80% an up. (If ur not a good enough attacker...then of course war isnt for u).
In a well organsied clan u should be donating about 1 cc worth. Then a litle bit on war day. You should get targets ideal for ur troop levels, and most importantly you should win.
Emphasis mine.
War is profitable now, if you're in a decent clan. The only time it's unprofitable is if you have to attack down to clean up someone else's mess, or you LOSE. You're a TH8. If you only attack TH8s and preemie 9s, via coordination with your team, you should make more than the equivalent of 2 really nice raids... and that via only 1 star... often more, if you do better.
If it's not profitable, you're in a bad clan. Maybe nice people. Bad at war. Simple as that.
The teamwork aspect of war is more fun than any part of farming, collecting nonsense, etc etc etc. I think it's the only reason some of us play the game.
1 war a week is boring.
I was trying to turn his nastiness into something fun instead.
I think this is a good thread. Lots of points of view. I vote for constant war myself that's what we do in my clan. But all the other guys are doing what's right for them which is what makes it right. So if there is suddenly a smack talking punk in the middle of it we can either get into it with him or yuck it up. I prefer the latter.
I suggest you read the thread and see who is the one who started talking snack before you make yourself look silly. And your troll attempt was weak that was why I didn't even bother to answer, don't think too highly of your ability. :) I only replied to this to set the record straight that I was not the one who started so yea get over yourself a bit :D
