Should I go farm at 200 Trophies?

Just checked out your base, and your defense is simply too weak.
It screams rushed TH8, and people would not think twice in attacking your base.

You have level 3/3/2 WT, Lvl 5/5/4(upgrading) mortar, lvl 7 archer tower, lvl 4!/5!/6 walls...
and you worry about the DE drill??
That should be the least of your worries.

You just have to upgrade your defense.
Until then, PUT YOUR TOWN HALL OUTSIDE! And hope someone would give you a free shield.

That means your base sucks and you are at too high of a trophy range for you.

I farmed under 200 trophies from December-February. It was good then: there was a lot of easy loot. I immediately climbed up to 1200-1500 trophies when Supercell disabled the "Next" glitch. Remembering the easy loot sub-200, I went back to check it out a few days ago. I was shocked to see how much it has deteriorated.

I didn't find ONE high level base in that range, or any bases that have a worthwhile amount of loot. I clicked and clicked and clicked all the way down to 70 trophies and ALL that I could find was crappy level 20-30 bases with level 3 walls that were carrying 20-30k of resources.

There is NOTHING down there--not even other farmers! It is completely dead.

Don't see how you can say that when I'm on 0 trophies and I'm getting loads of bases 100k+ with only little defence using max 20 goblins a time

Just keep trophy hunting. If you go down to the sub-200 level, then your farming armies won't do anything. They would get you 20000 of each resource at most. if you trophy hunt with a good base, you will find premature TH8/9 players and get a lot more resources than just farming. Trophy hunting will keep you up there in your clan so you will get more respect among your clan, too. You will take more than people will take from you.

After reading this thread I wanted to check this famous range under 200 so yesterday I dropped from 1300 to 164 and guess what I hated it so much that I came back to my 1300 trophy range. Cost me nearly 300.000 gold and quite some Elexir to get back to the 1300. I didn't find a single town in the <200 worth raiding
