I don't think I'd like to invest real money and resources into a wep that I could only use if I am so many high trophies up
cost when I level my th first couple weeks or even month I will drop 1k trophies just to make it easy with all the new upgrades so Iam 50/50 on the idea
If so it wont go offline but would become weaker if you dont keep Up your trophy lvl
If that idea is coming then maybe also something for a certain amount of gold or something then you simulate people to get gold and stuff I know people are going to buy the gold yeah but then supercell makes money so it is an win win situation:D
I like this simple idea.
Could be done 2 ways
A new building or a modification to the TH.
and powered in 2 ways.
Range and power based on just trophy count/league levels of a player.
Or
its power or effect is linked to trophies and TH level.
i like it most with the TH just unlocking different effects.
this could be a clear crystal building that's available early in the game but its charge and power and or range are linked to trophies you hold or trophys and TH level. It's colour changes to indicate the effect it has
it could be even added to the roof of the town hall as a totem that increases in range as trophy count raises. (see totem thread)
it doesn't have to be very powerfull but its range can be cranked up by thophy count it could grow in power at different TH levels but its range is reduced until your trophy count grows up to a normal level for your TH
i like the idea it sits on the town hall and gives low level defence to a wide area.
the effects it can do could come from the totem thread sorry carnt link. Just search for it.
so you can pick an effect for the totem gives you, TH levels could be used as an unlock its effects.
but the important thing is its power changes with a players trophy count and automaticly drops if the player drops trophies.
this creates an advantage to climbing trophies without extra loot they could link this to the leagues as was but have TH just unlock extra effects.
what ever happens in how it's done, having a weapon's power or range based on trophies level is a great idea.
and the buff/effect only effecting 1 weapon/totem stops it from becoming to OP.
if it can be given a significant advantage for all the different league levels so its made a important part in its power for defence at all leagues levels it could be game changing.

The bottomline of my idea is to have a structure that is directly linked to your trophy level so that there will be more motivation to gain trophies. It may not be limited to defensive structures only as long as it will still keep the game well balanced

These could be added based on trophy counts or different effects and strengths unlocked at different trophy totals. But can be lost again if the trophies are lost. They could be shown greyed out showing at what trophy level they unlock at. If linked to the leagues you can lose and gain them using the same system that you move up and down the leagues with now.
