Yes, farming for 225 skulls at TH8 is worth it. As what they've said, it's easier to farm for them at TH8.

There's no need to get all level 8 walls. Farming at th 9 isn't even that bad. The big difference is at th 10.

You go to the next level of Townhall when one of these 2 options come:
- You get boring with current lvl TH
- You max out everything at the current lvl TH

you know in a way i enjoy farming better than expensive atacks but lv 6 troops would be awesome

it's always worth it. skulls are intimidating and cool :P
i'm currently sitting in all skulls, elixir lab done, minion and hog lv3, and 6 days left to th9 :D
i use BAM in around 1400-1600 trophies, didn't up my minion to lv4 due to saving DE for buying queen, and minion lv3 is enough as it takes two shots from archer tower level 10

I upgraded to Th9 with only 40 skulls and I wish I hadn't. I'm on the road to finishing my skulls, 51 left. Less than a week ago I had 112 left if that gives you any idea as to how quickly you can get it done. And i'm not playing as much as some do.

Farming Th7's is much easier to do, especially if you want to get at storages. Consider upgrading your dark troops and king to 10 while farming for walls, at least Hogs and Minions. I wish I had upgraded my Minions along the way cause i'd use them more now that i'm at Th9.

I have 125 left and completely plan on finishing all of them before TH9. My lvl 6 teslas finish in 6 days then I will have all defense finished. Walls and heroes is what I'll focus on.

I have a couple things to finish researching: goblins, wall breakers, Golems, Hog lvl 3 and 4, minion lvl 3. I'll keep them going obviously but will not finish them before TH9. Priorities are Golems and minions next.

I am aiming to finish my walls within the next 9 days and hit upgrade on my TH.
