I will be hitting townhall 9 in three days will completely full storages ($6 million). I am in a clan that never wars. Should I use the $6 million to buy both X-bows, or upgrade the clan castle? I know the x-bows are good for defense, but are they better than being able to hold 7 wizards for defense?

1. It's improve both defense and offense, given that you are in a clan that donate regularly.
2. I prefer offense, which xbow doesn't give.
3. You can still use CC while you upgrade it. Why not do it asap?
4. More luring times might make the different between 1* & 2* and even 3* in a war.
5. If opponent missed 1 wz in CC, it might destroy their raids. The more the better.
6. More war loot storage. If your clan win war all the time and you have the ability to attack TH10, the bigger storage mean more loot.

I think you should upgrade your clan castle first. The extra five housing space can be more useful than an X-bow (and help when attacking), which are really bad at level 1 in my opinion anyway. When you buy the X-bows, upgrade them as soon as possible. :)
first thing you must do is change the clan asap............wats the use of storing all the gold and elixer when you cannot go to war and have some extra fun..............:)
I did both xbows right when I got to th9. Mostly so I can use them in clan wars while they were still building but I did clan castle right after.
CC for sure. xbows when you think about them aren't really that strong. Lots of people are intimidated by them and yes they do well at lvl 3. CC improves defense by 5 extra troops and offense.
