How long before you kick the broke mute?

I give donating members time to talk. I give talkers time to donate. If they do neither, then how much time they get has more to do with member count.

I give them time to donate or talk. If they ask for elder or troops straight up its an insta-kick, no matter what they say afterwards. If they join and are completely inactive we give them about 3 days. no excuses then. Yet no matter how inactive they seem i always catch them back again (after they've been kicked) a few days later or requesting troops :/

Well if you kick something that is brokeit will only break it further.

The OP's time frames are ludicrously short.

i guess u r one of those guys who doesnt like being ignored and given the silent treatment. People might not want to talk as they might be having some problems, they might be raiding. Why kick a potentionally a good donator even if he doesnt talk? sounds too harsh. though those r your clan rules... happy clashing :D

We still give them until the end of the week to talk or donate if not, kick! Or when at least the clan is full and someone wants to join, we kick them :D

As soon as we accept someone into our clan we immediately go through an interview. If he doesnt respond within 2 minutes its not worth our time.

Personally I think the best way to deal with these "zombies" as I call them. is for Supercell to allow us to send a violent electrical shock down the router to the person holding the ipad. Or iphone, whatever. That would wake them up. And if they are afk? Well, it would fry their ipad circuitry, that would teach 'em good!

I quite like the last idea! :D For us it depends on various things... mainly what mood we're all in at the time! Some people in our clan have trouble typing in English, so they're a little quieter. If they drop in and donate like crazy straight away, then that's fine. We do try to tease some info out of them eventually.

For the non donating variety... well we also have people who join but don't request or donate, but then come round to properly playing in the evening or weekends. Rarer, but it does happen!

In an ideal world, we'd love everyone to be friendly on arrival and drop in a few donations, but we try as best we can to suss them out before kicking!

Asking for elder, or dragons, or only the purple minions with one eye will also result in a swift kick out the door!
