Get them to a level that youre happy with using them for a while. Keeping both awake as a new 10 will be a massive help, as saving for those camps, and being without spells for a while sure sucks.
Like a noob i put my queen down as a new 10, and it was painful.
Get them to lvl 20 to make it easy for farming when you are at th10, and if you want to stay down there longer, i suggest you getting your heroes to lvl 30:D
Doesnt really matter, gold and elix are the downsides of going to th10 DE is still just as easy ( easier ).
Also, i dont agree with people who say getting heroes higher helps with farmings as a new th10 as the longer regen times actually make it take longer. Id say get them to 15 but thats just me.
Once you get th10 troops and can farm in a higher league that has more de more comfortably you will notice that you will make more de naturally. DE is easier at th10, mainly because of this but the drill helps a bit too.
There is no reason to wait before making the jump except walls.

I don't know the proper answer, but personaly, I am aiming for 20/20 and legos .... am too casual to be grinding past that level, and the new shiny things will be glistening ...... :D
Well, I'm aiming to max th10 but also don't want get bored while upgrading only heroes and doing nothing else. I will keep upgrading them in th9 until I get full lava. Then go up to th10. I've been attacked with queen and king lvl20 and they seem to be good even my walls are full legoes and my defenses are maxed as a th9Quote:
