Should I upgrade to TH8?

You're obviously not having problems with farming. Hit that upgrade button, and make sure your farming troops are ready to go when it finishes.

You're story sounds similar to this guys...He very much regretted not going up with maxed walls...

just finish you lab upgrades , then finish you defense then roll on , in th8 you have better troops and you get better loot then in th7

Man thank you so much for this, I'm new and was having doubts but my arguments are exactly like his, if you constantly farm and use resources there is nothing to loot and you also don't waste time on workers and capped resources.

Yep :) Th8 not bad place to be at all. You'll do well.

I don't normally advocate rushing but I think you fit the criteria. MSince you are quite active, max your splash damage defense (mortar and wizard) and the troops you normally use, and then upgrade your town hall.

There is nothing complicated in having maxed storages constantly when you are th7/8. If you have the time which you seem to have plenty of, and attack using both thumbs.

In my opinion, the trick is to time manage your upgrades, available loot, playing session to match your every day life whilst having all your builders at work constantly. I have had 5 builders since th3, not one of them stopped for over 5 minutes, I am th9 now and have been for about month.

I also don't like rushing and tend to max everything at each th before leveling up (a part from mines and collectors) so I wouldn't recommend leveling up. But if the game is too easy and you "excel" at it, I suggest going to th10 right away, that way you will have a real challenge in your hands.

M8 Your walls are beast but your def is not good enugh. Please dont upgrade (and if kind enough put storages out side)

Your issue with long upgrade times is that you are upgrading some of the defences with the longest upgrade times first, like tesla and air defence while your cannons and archer towers which takes less time are being ignored. Upgrade your cannons and archer towers while devoting one or two builders on the longer upgrades, devote at least one builder to doing up some elixir upgrades like dark barracks, upgrading your barracks unless you don't plan on using healers, dragons and pekkas, minions or hogs ever.
