New air defence at th7

Hi, Supercell
I want to discuss a serious issue here for th7.Well no matter how good your defence is you can not defend an all dragon attack.In so many clan wars and mutiplayer attack I have finished my.opponent with this strategy and vice versa.All you have to do is drop 3 lightning spell.on one air def. And deploy all the dragons.near the second.one.
Now this strategy can not be defended with any base design at th7 and the sad part is you dont even need to upgrade your dragon to level 2(max. Upgrade possible at th7) If the attacker has just a little bit experience.
So many clanmate of mine has mentioned the same issue.
Now I am not saying to give us a crossbow or some heavy air defensive unit.at this level all that I am saying is that an additional air defence provided at th8 should be provided at th7 Instead.
WIth an additional air defe.at th7 it will be challenging and also possible but with some brain as I usually finishes a lot of th8 although I am only a th7 with lvl2 dragon.
Eirher this or you guys can do something else or resolve this but pls dont give another skeleton.trap.as it is as usefull.as a bucket without a bottom when it comes to dragons.

its not suprising to hear this. u know that lv1 drags could beat maxed th7s? let me tell you. its called the "cost vs effort vs reward"

okay, so u know thats its extremely easy to beat a th7 with hogs? yeah that is easy, but thats expensive, because of the effort to destroy the base is small, the reward u get is also small, the reward is small becuz u used expensive troops, u used expensive troops so it only needs a small effort to destroy the base, and so on. and if u use giant healers, its hard to destroy the base but it gives huge rewards as the troops are cheap. so it does the same thing with dragons, nothing u can avoid about it, but as your th level ups, drag raid and hogs become harder and gowipe appears. (that also explains why drag and pekka upgrade increases only a little) and sorry as i cant describe it that good.

im happy to share my discovery to the world. and your clanmates also! and the layout in th7 isnt complex enough for anti-drag base

Now you are correct about rewards but when it comes to clan wars most of the ppl dont care about rewards .All they care about is stars only and if you see a th7 then thats a sure shot 3 Star Which some times encourages ppl for premature townhalls upgrde.so should'nt be there a way which lets say make.it a bit difficult for dragons to take a th7
And as for as hogs are concerned.yes they are capable.of finishing a th7 Too but You.will have to agree its not as easy as with dragons .I mean you know you are always afraid of the giant bombs and spring trap so one will have to prepare some strategy and execute it very carefully unlike dragons .What do you say

i dont think there is a reason for it. or if there is, i cant think one. adding seeking air mines would make giant healer harder. increasing firepower of air defense could affect bloonion raids.

im trying to be nice at the forums and reply to as many threads as i can. congrats for my tenth post.

I don't think it's unreasonable to move the 3rd AD from TH8 to TH7.

It would help TH7's (who get picked on a lot) out.

A 3rd AD will do you no good in clan wars to defend dragons. An experienced dragon attacker will just as easily wreck your base with the 3rd AD. Besides, TH7s have almost zero hope of defending in wars anyway unless you match up with a really incompetent clan.

In fact, I'd say a 3rd AD would be more harmful. Giant -healer is a crucial attack used at TH7. The extra AD would be devastating to that strategy and make your daily raiding that much more difficult.

This would kill the use of all out dragon attacks against town hall 7's. I know this is your point, but this attack strategy is one of the most popular attacks for level 7 town halls and they could not as easily defeat other level 7 town halls in war or while trophy pushing.

I think it could possibly make dragon raids even more common. The other popular strategy is giant-healer and it would do a lot more harm to them making it basically unusable.

If you take out dragons and giant healer there's not a lot of viable strategies at th7 and if someone is willing to spend 350k plus elixir on an attack that early in the game then I think they should be rewarded. th7 you get a huge upgrade in offense, defense doesn't really catch up until th8 but adding 2 AD at th7 would be way too big of a jump.

Dragons don't really seem to fit the strategy aspect of this game and I find it really annoying how some random guy raids me with all dragons, places those dragons in weird spots as well as misplacing his spells, yet still 3 staring me. Besides there aren't too many uses for elixir besides upgrading walls especially at TH8 which is statistically a TH that more active players are at than any other TH. If you ask me, an extra air defence at TH7 is a fair judgment.
