Can a th 9 with a queen, king, all th8 troops except for loons 1 star these bases? We got really mismatched this war so we aren't even trying. We have 4 th6 and all their guys are th8 or above. It's only a 10v10 war. I was thinking that a mass arch might work.

That second base'a xbows are on ground (well two are). Archers will die fast
Maybe some odd combo like archers and toss a few golems in to take the fire???

Jeez, poor thing. I won't really want to attack a base with infernos. Maybe you can try dragons, it can get 1-2 stars.
The first base is a very easy 1 star base, I'd personally likely go with loonion, assuming you have level 6 balloons.
The second looks worse, but I still think loonion would work,
