i am always attacked by golems for some reason... every attack from last war on is golem attack.
i am a th8 too, so it is strange why he does that
Can someone help me and either
- find an antigolem base
- find a base and tell me where to put the traps to kill golems, wizards, witches
I am always 80+%ed so if there is any way to move my traps to kill the golems or witches or wizards or change my base, that would help.
i 2 have faced the same kind of problems with golems and witches, but u got to remember that this was the purpose of these new troops, which was to increase the difficulty of defending against them. As we all know, the attacker always has the advantage, especially in war when they can see ur base pre-attack. My advice, funnel the golems with a good wall pattern that will set them up to face high level hidden teslas which are the fastest killers in the game of strong troops like pekkas and golems (u might even be able to say giants) and there are some pretty good threads here in the forums to learn how to funnel correctly, and/or bases made by other people that do a darn good job, they are the experts ur facing after all ;)

well in th8.. there is a little bit nothing you can do. when your are attacked by gowipe.

Well, first off there's very little a TH8 can do to defend against a golem attack. Your defenses just cant kill it fast enough. So the your only hope i guess would be to divert the golems to the sides of your base so it doesnt tank the main attacking force of the enemy.
Check out Clash with Cam in Youtube. He has a great anti-golem/ anti-giant base. Its a base for TH9 and Th10, but u can use the principle of using hidden teslas to divert the golems to the sides.

As a TH8, preventing the 2 or 3 star is already counted as a win in my opinion. You're base is probably fine as it is :D

While it stinks to get destroyed in a war, it sounds like you're getting hit by a higher ranked player. To me, that's a good thing. If I'm #8 in my clan's war and I'm getting taken out by the #2, I see that as a good thing for my clan. That gives my clan a better chance at winning the war when a higher ranked opponent needs to come after a weaker player. It's when the opponent's #8 takes out my clan's #2 in a war that you go "uh oh".
Just take the advice of others with funneling and also chalk it up to the fact that you're helping your clan win the war by using up a higher player's attack.
