I don't recall loonion three staring maxed bases before lava hounds came in. Perhaps you would like to share a video?

Since people use them, people have obviously decided they have worth, and we're talking about people who adjust their army and 'practice' over and over again, I'm sure they would have tried with and without hounds and decided that hounds work effectively.
