When you get to the hgigher levels and there are cc troops, AQ, and a ton of things blowing up it is tough to see the bar even when you are looking for it. Many people have suggested a hero bar on the icon to prevent this. Seems like a very simple solution. Hopefully SC adds it in one of the upcoming updates.
