Probably
I'd say you could go in from the north west side with mass dragons as well since AD doesn't cover back there Drop 2 rage across the core the last rage on last AD and caked.
yes that base can be 3 starred by holowiwi for sure. For more information on how to holowiwi a very similar base, I suggest that you check out this youtube user: knightlygaming(Tigrr on the forums). He has instructional videos on how to holowiwi a base similar to the one you suggested.
Do not listen to 3lorian. The space between the inner and outer ring is designed to counter mass dragons by making most/all of the dragons go around the ring while the air defences are shooting at them.Yes it is still possible to 2 star that base using mass drag, provided you clear some of the buildings in the outer ring first and make sure that the dragons' shortest path is to the inner ring.(make sure most of the dragons enter the inner ring and use some cc balloons to target the ad while your dragons take fire from the ad)
Hope this helps.
This is a poorly designed moat style base. The north western side is unprotected by AD. Dragons should go to core if you use two dragons to clear a small path. CC balloons would help greatly.
HoLo should work but lvl5 loons make me nervous. Plus the spacing is pretty far. You'd need to take a lot of loons.
Tbh I'd maybe leave the loons at home. Use giants shielding wiz for outer def . With one side clear hogs shoukd attack core. Mass dragons " hey I may be wrong but dropping in mass will have them parade around the outside for the air def to slaughter. I'd consider checking the level and war record of whoever suggested mass drags
I never said drop them in a mass (you should never do that they should always be in a row). I said use two to clear the northwestern side (which is out of AD range). Moat designs are great for anti dragon (i use one) but the problem with this particular moat is the entire northwestern side is vulnerable the other there sides are covered well but if you cleared it dragons should go to core.
Pardon my poor drawing skills =p
Red= the first two dragons you drop to clear a path (they will die around 9 and 3 o'clock)
blue are the other dragons dropped after first two clear a path
Purple are rage spells and the paths that the dragons should go after rage and green is what dragons will kill while raged
For HoLoWi id take (based off of spacing and defensive building arrangement)
18 loons
12 Hogs
12 Wizards
2 Archers
CC Hogs (highest lvl available)
2 loons per AT and one for each other defense (might need to double up on one or two of those wizard towers =/)
Louder is also correct with the giant/hog/wiz start that would work as well. =)
Thanks for the input guys. I chickened out and used mass drags and 3 x Rage.
Did it work?
Which way did you go?
In through the back door...alas, only a two star. Drags ran out of gas.
