well i am also an early mid th9... well i am around a month i think. (my balloons are already lvl 6) but minions are sitting just level 2. well i did not upgraded them during my th8 days i totally skipped it since i feel it sucks a lot.
is it possible to replace minions?
I've seen (but never tried) archers instead of minions with balloons. I could see some potential problems such as setting off ground traps and get stuck shooting walls... Neither being a problem with minions.Quote:

I'd say don't replace them... They are meant for clean up behind the balloons, so level isn't exceptionally important.
