Tips for getting both xbows as a new th9?

I wanted to give another viewpoint.

I've just gone to TH9 and I'm going to leave crossbows for the moment. I decided that in these early stages nothing is going to stop my base being flattened by well developed TH9's and 10's anyway and my TH8 defences were good enough against anybody else.

I spent the gold I bought with me from TH8 on the clan castle - improve defence and attack.

All my loot gathering is now focussed on elixir and DE to upgrade heroes and offensive capability.

I'm keeping gold storage low - any gold I get is being spent on walls and cheap defence upgrades.

I will get round to x bows in due course, but I think this is the most efficient way for me given the way I play.

Save up for an X-Bow,, and you have 7 days to save up another 3mil.. and get the second one..


do this for everything, upgrade a wizard tower to level 6... while its upgrading start saving up for a level 7 wizard tower 5.3 mil

The OP should have saved 6mil for two xbows before he hit th9.

But since he didn't, he needs to drop cups, 1300 to 1500 or so, and farm in sessions. The max you can lose is 350k gold from storage, or what you should be able to get in two raids.

Also, did you build the 4th storage? The maxed 4th storage really saves your loot, especially when spread out.
