yes, perdolee the biggest complainers are going to be the ones who refuse to farm since farmers want to run away from trophies and the complainers want to attract trophies. I for one like could care less about trophies. I much rather raid and destroy villages and upgrade too....just not a farmer with zero trophies.

I'm a th8 player with 2150 trophys and at lv62.. Most won by my great deffence as i win around 80% of the attacks made against my village... Only ones i really loose for sure is when a lv.80+ attacks with 6 lv3 pekkas and 3-4 rage spells..
Ive earned rest of my trophies fighting other villages close to me.. With lv.7-8-9 town halls.. Some easier than others, some hard enough for mé to loose.. But none of them by dropping down to levels way bellow my own.
ohh.. And i dont hide behind shields eighter, except when i sleep.. Lol.. If i do het shield beyond that, i remove it to earn mé some nice deffence trophys ;-)
So yeah.. I deffenitly Think my Way of gaming is more fair than the guy with lv.80+ dropping Down to loot me is.. He's the one going for the easy fights, not mé.
And yes, fair game to me, would be that i got matched with players equal to myself.. Around same level and same town hall.. That would require skill to beat and win trophys.. And for me the most chalenging way to play..Not dropping down to attack some poor lv30 player.
As you say, the match making is based on trophys.. But really, you dont see a flaw, When people have to loose trophys now on purpose, just to avoid getting matched with players 20-30 levels higher than Them ?
- again, i'm not looking for easy targets, just matches with players around my own level.. Shouldnt have to drop trophys for that.
when i said "life isn't fair ... deal with it" i was speaking more to those who plain when they lose or think the game isn't fair not directly to you. It seems that we both share similar opinions. I just like to see everyones point of view and try to understand them...but I'm never going to understand those who think lvl should be included for that is completely meaningless
No strategy is wrong. But if you clearly think about it. It all boils down to one fact. The fact that you need to get stronger before you shoot bigger goals. And that fact is hurting a certain numbers of players crying out on facebook and on this forum. I mean come on. Do these guys actually think they can just be at a trophy range they didn't earn to be for? Is it "unfair" if a level 30, 40, 50, 60 can't shoot for 3000 trophy? If you think about it, it's kinda funny with all these "empty" rants.Quote:

"Farming" = attacking clans with high resources and easy to defeat. And this is a bad strategy? There isn't a clan out here that attacks the hardest clans or clans with low resources on a regular basis.
Being able to view a variety of level clans during attacks makes more sense and is more enjoyable.
Maybe make the match making a two parter. First match them by trophies then by Town Hall lvl or the other way around.Quote:

In the first post of this thread I presented 3 arguments as to why level based match making won't work. Come back here with actual reasoned counter points to the arguments presented there.
As for people dropping trophies to avoid matching high level people, one might argue they shouldn't have been there in the first place. They got there by attacking people of much lower rank for 1-2 trophies at a time. Now they have to work for it using um "superior tactics and skill"
It definitely doesn't make sense to say someone is playing wrong, or their tactics are wrong. Some of the beauty in the game to me was that there was no one way to play it. Different people have different goals.
it feels very black and white though, when so many people are saying it was wrong for others to attack weaker opponents for trophies, but they do it for resources! And vice versa!
Both versions can feel unfair. But the hardest part that leaves someone from each side of the argument upset is that the game has flipped to favor one way of playing them game, Then the other way. Leaves us confused. Makes us constantly change out goals/strategy.
But at no point do I feel it necessary to bully other players by saying rude things because they played differently from you. If the game switches, the opposite side will be left complaining, will that make their/your strategy suddenly wrong? No.
