Fully Max or am I okay?

I'm currently a almost maxed TH8. Everything is maxed but 1 tesla (lvl 5/6), Valks to lv2, and 99/250 of my walls are skulls. I'm really looking forward to TH9, and I want to max, but all those walls and the Valkyrie upgrade will take some time...

Do I need to max or would I be fine?

P.S.: Looking for a good farming base for TH8 + TH9.

I would say you need to max first

The reason being that elixir and gold will get harder when you upgrade your TH

If you want, you can hold off that valkyrie upgrade until TH9 where DE is much easier to get,
but definately get the tesla and the walls done in TH8

I agree with this guy.
Max that last tesla, and get all your walls to skulls.

Finishing your walls would take about as much time as it'd take you to do upgrade the tesla and collect enough dark in order for your to valk to upgrade.

You are okay to head on over to TH9 but you might as well just finish the max because you are so close.

I was a fully maxed TH8 (not troop wise) that upgraded to TH9 and so far TH9 has been a breeze. Remember to hold enough dark for your AQ and as much gold/elixir that you can for your new upgrades and buildings.

well just finish the walls and you are ready to go..
it will just take you 2-3 weeks. so you can do it..

but basicly never let your builder idle

Depends on how fast and how much you farm. Raise your townhall when you can finish skull walls during its building

go ahead and upgrade ur TH. its like an early prep for TH9, furthermore, there will be a lot of new def coming in once in TH9.

Just do the walls. you'll get enough de for the valks easily by the time they are done so it's kinda not a big deal. though they really do suck. comming from a former valk supporter lol

Tesla = Upgraded
Lab = Upgraded (excluding valks)
Walls = 99/250. Focusing on those now, I've come to a conclusion that I will max, without valks. (Dem lv6 drills doee)
