At th8, all cannons are level 9, archer towers at 8, two mortars at 6 other two at 5, two wiz towers at four, third one at five, all air defenses at 5, and my three teslas are at two. what should my upgrade order be? what defense should I do first, last ect.... thanks to all that reply :cool:
In my opinion splash damage is most important. So mortars and wiz towers should be priority. After that teslas (since they don't cost as much but take longer), air d, arch towers then cannons.
You should upgrade your defenses from cheapest to most expensive
Mortars and wizards first. You will be primarily attacked by ground troops. Plus the lvl 6 wizard towers are a nice visual deterrent to farmers. Then always have one builder on teslas at all times (I also always had one builder on air defence as well) since teslas take a long time and lvl 6 teslas are devastating to troops. Then just upgrade archers and cannons as you can.

Always splash first. Your mortars should have been maxed before your cannons were upgraded to level nine. Then get both wizard towers to level 5.
So many different opinions. My rule is always the most expensive that you can afford when the builder comes free. If you can farm harder and farm more loot, going from most expensive to least expensive isn't going to hurt. If you aren't quite keeping up, teslas and air def will slow your builders down for a period so you can catch up. Your builders time is valuable, make sure they're not sleeping and you'll get there pretty well.
I really think this is great advice. I do my upgrades according to how much gold I have farmed. Splash defenses are important but I would never recommend doing them all at once, your base will get trashed on defense. If I have enoughh t upgrade an AT before a WT I would do it every time. Not keeping my builders idle is the key for me. I always leave one for walls, don't neglect them.Quote:
