Barrier for dark elixer storage

I have zapped, id do zap and i will always zap DE storages. I have also been zapped many times. IT IS PART OF THE GAME, get over it! :)

Yeah, they're really hiding behind a loot penalty when a TH steamrolls them for 250K+ of each resource.

You still haven't said where you farm at. It has to be a lower league if you get zapped so much.

If you don't want to get zapped so much, go play with players your own size. But I'm guessing you don't want to do that because your base would be at greater risk of losing ALL it's resources.

this is not fair for early th7 who struggling on farming BK. give them chance. this game would be more interesting to everyone :D. ppl zapped me also everyday but i really dont care as long as revenge button is still available. fair enough.

I wish they would take away the loot penalty on revenges, but they will not. I was specifically told by SC that they would not do this.

That said, zapping is balance. It's all about balance in fact. The logic is quite simple really. You sit at lower TH ranges and fight weaker people who have no hope of defending. The price you pay for that is lightning on your DE. If you don't want lightning on your DE, climb to a higher trophy range where people care more about trophies than they do about exchanging elixir for DE.

You don't even have to climb that high. Crystal league is enough to eliminate the vast majority of this. Sure it still happens, but it's with far less frequency.

The fact is, the DE zapping mechanic provides upward pressure on trophies for stronger bases. This is a good thing, and I doubt SC will do much to change it.

Taking away the loot penalty would severely shift the balance in favor of higher THs. Lower THs already are at a disadvantage.

But if you want to go that route, then let's put in an added loot penalty based on league and TH, say an additional 30% for TH9s in Silver league or an additional 20% in Gold league.

I can only imagine the crying the would ensue.

Only for revenges. This would not severely shift the balance. I'm sure you've tried to revenge someone. It's not easy. Furthermore, it requires the lower TH to strike first.

Rightfully so. The loot penalty already levels the field as far as resources are concerned. An additional penalty based on TH would be disasterous because it doesn't take into account weak bases or weak players. I do believe they should offer additional incentives for folks with more trophies though. The way the game currently works is stupid. People who are TH7 with 0 trophies should not make more loot per hour than TH10s with 4000 trophies.

There is already a barrier around your DE. It's the DE storage.

It is balanced. When you zap and run you lose trophies, elixir, and time.
