Let it be, even if you lost some on defence you could be able to get it back easily and you save your gems.
Unless you have a hero upgrading, in that case I gem the hero. Because they are so much more valuable awake...

Th outside and fill barracks with expensive troops you can dismiss when your on wall breakers are good for this. Damn I would finish a builder w gems then spend some of that gold!Quote:

I got max wiz towers, 5 max archer towers, 1 lvl 10 archer tower, max cannon, 2 max air defense, 2 need to upgrade, 3 max mortar, 1 upgrading to lvl 6, i am looking on tesla all are lvl 5 one is upgrading, i got 2 x bow, one is lvl 1 the other is upgrading to lvl 3, (i had the gold to upgrading it so i did) i have 218 lvl 7 walls and 32 lvl 8
Do not waste your gems. You could farm back the resources you would lose, if ever someone goes for your fat lewtz.
Sitting around 2580 - 2595 trophies, currently on 7.9 million gold, 2.3 million Elixir, 100K DE and just got sniped by a TH10. Thank you. Definitely no need to a shield.
