Why all you guys GG and EE so high? Maybe because I rely on my collectors :p This is in my sig, last updated 1-2 weeks ago:

You must have all skulls with such grabs :)
Also means you are going hardcore - it does not make sense to farm so much at this level, as the builders are always busy without much lower grabs and the only option is to dump the leftovers into walls...which is fine, but not ultimately too rewarding unless you are an achiever/competionist/addict/do not have life (choose whichever you like :D)

Dokugan, there are multiple people in our clan who diligently farm 6-8 mil resources daily. Which means you have to steadily farm 5+ hours a day. I cannot imagine myself doing this. To me it is like this South Park episode about Warcraft (definitely have a look if you have not already ;)). But I do enjoy making 3-6 raids every night once I come back from office, gym or football. More on weekends, but never overdoing it. So far it is working great, but I do understand that my builders will idle once it comes to those very costly upgrades of TH9.

Actually it was during th7 until early th8 i went hardcore since the holiday break 😂 now i took chill pill and lay back collecting my collector and do raid every 12 hours only during shield off. My wall left 55x, didnt finish it since i plan to use it to dump my gold when i farm elix for lab later on. Pekka lv 3, 6mil elix is helluva to keep instead to farm IMO.

Yup, probably because the loot is terrible :p Couldn't raid after 30-40 mins of searching. On a good day I do 2-5 decent raids, but yeah...

I am absolutely clueless where you dumped all these grabs at TH7. And you cannot carry over to TH8 more than 4M of each plus the war loot in the castle :)
But yeah, people are different.
Still, overall gold upgrades are more costly at TH8 than elixir upgrades. I, for instance, need to built 65-70% of skulls with elixir to balance the overall costs/expenses out.
