Just turned TH8
Got Archers to lvl 5 and going to do barbs and giants as lab priority first to make farming DE easier but in the meantime I'm sitting on 10k DE and starting to wonder about the smartest way to do this...
BK is already at lvl 5 from TH7
Dark Barracks are lvl 2
So, max BK, Minions or Hogs first?
Not really had a chance to play with DE troops yet so not sure how good they are.
BK or minions definitely.
I agree, minions. King is important but I love loonion so good level minions are a must. Plus they are good for donating.

You guys think minions or king? I tend to use hogs a lot in war at TH8, so I made them a priority to upgrade. Then again, I don't know what you use most often, so go with whatever suits you.
King to lvl10 first. Then your choice. I went with minions because I use them in farming.
It depends on what you want to do in wars. If you suck at giant/wizard and already have many Dragon Players in the clan, then go for hogs. Otherwise I would prefer upgrading the king instead. I am a mid th9 with lvl100 at the Moment and still have hogs and minions lvl1, because I am better in war with other attack strategies and dont want to spend dark elixir for farming.

Well personally I barch 90% of my raids, cheap, quick, good returns.
When I got BK I was pretty "meh" but persevered to get Iron Fist and he got a whole lot more interesting! I now use him whenever possible stacked with spells for big loot raids - the one I literally just done 331k Gold 248k Elixir :)
I have never used minions and hogs yet, and I didnt want to discover later I should have not neglected them lol.
EDIT: War wise only once a week and mostly TH7-8 so 90% are dragon army.
Minions definitely. Gives you more options to attack with de when you are saving elixers. Hogs are good too but burn out your de fast and they are weak at low levels.
