I'm at around 1310-1320 trophies at the moment, and the loot is horribly dry. I have to refer to the last few of the story mode missions just to get some decent dough. What trophy sub range is banging for TH8 right now? Anyone care to share?

1150-1350 is what I usually do. atm I'm at 1300 and I can confirm that loot is dry. I'm drooping trophies and hopefully that'll work.:D
I'm farming at 1400-1450 on my 2 accounts, HDV 8 both. LOOT is fine. ;)

The profitable ranges changes from day to day - if you're having difficulties, try moving up or down your usual range a hundred cups or so at a time. I've farmed anywhere from 1100-1600 as TH8.

i have level 4 troops and im wandering around 1300 trophies. i fear spending so much gold on match making, perhaps i should go higher to where you guys say its good, lol. i need a lot of resources now that i just got my town hall level 8 just 2 days ago. its maxing out time. wish me luck, haha. good luck to you too goku.

On a serious note, with lvl 4 troops you're probably going to have a hard time past 1300 or so. Stick to lower ranges (1100-ish) and pick on abandoned bases until your troops are up to snuff.

I'm newly th7 and hovering around 1200 trophies. Finding pretty good loot in a few skips....sometimes takes more than 10 but not that often. Found quite a few inactive bases.
Also, remember that you don't have to raid 200k/200k bases every time to be profitable. You should be able to find plenty of poorly defended TH6 in the 1100 range that you can easily snipe 50k-75k at a time with very few troops, and pretty much jump right back to raiding again. If you can raid three or four 50k villages in the same time it would take you to take down a 200k village (and having to retrain all of your troops), it's just as good.Quote:

It was great for DE up there but other resources were terrible or impossible to get so I went down to 1400-1500. It's good here even with lvl 4 troops but I didn't waste much time upgrading archers so it's getting easier now. I have giants finishing in 2 days then I'll start barbarians :)Quote:
