The choice is there but as seen with SC's multi wall upgrade update, SC isn't against the idea of making choices easier. I also disagree with the idea that a clan should either be for war or not since that isn't the only thing in the game. Since the system already kicks out the bottom 0-4 players, why not let the clan choose who those people are rather than have it be with trophies?Quote:

I know what ya mean but if people could opt in and out of wars this would be a nightmare for leaders to go to war. It would be better if leaders could make people active or inactive and that way a players reasons for not wanting to war could be reviewed on its own merits. Its hard enough recruiting quality members and trying to filter out the hoppers and people who dont use war attacks and other time wasters whilst also trying to get enough players join so that nobody is left out of a war without people opting out of wars. Thats my opinion anyway.

Could you elaborate on how it would be a nightmare? If someone does the leave/rejoin method, it's basically the same thing as the member getting to decide when they opt out so it wouldn't be significantly more chaotic than now. Also I never said that the member gets to choose and I don't have any strong preference to who gets to choose.Quote:

While you can label your clan as a war/farm clan, there are clans that considers themselves a mix between the two because it's not like you never farm (unless you define a farm as not warring) and there are people who wants to war, can't always war, and don't want to lose their donations/have problems returning/have members not returning.
With your 3rd point, it looks like opting out would help with hoppers. If you have the guy opt out (either by leader doing it or telling the guy to do it or he'll get kicked), then you can wait to see how he behaves before risk using him in war. Also the 0-4 opt out thing I talked about earlier wouldn't make it harder to get everyone because if opt out only works if people are going to be kicked out anyways
You should be able to sit out during a war. My clan wars all the time but some players don't want to war all the time. We have found ways around this but it's a pain. You should be able to just click yes or no for war. There's some players that don't really want to war at all but just like the game!!! Get on it!!!
I'm the leader of my clan and we've won 70 plus wars!!! That's a lot right!!! The nightmare is when someone doesn't want to be in war and has too because there's no opt out!!!
