Directional Wall Breakers

Okay so I'm new to the Forums but I've had something bothering me for awhile. It seems like when I put down wall breakers they always go in the direction I don't want them to go in. The idea is that the player can command which wall for a wall breaker to destroy. The player could select their wall breaker unit, tap the wall they want them target, and simply place their wall breakers and they target the wall. Alternatively, if the player wants to just let the wall breaker decide like it is in the game now, they wouldn't select the wall, just place the wall breakers.

learning each troop's AI is fundamental to this game. What you are asking would change everything

What he means is he wants wall breaker to go straight to the wall closest to them and not run around to the other side of the base and pop a wall there.

All I mean is that my wall breakers seem to be pretty uncontrollable not matter how much I do

exactly! and why would we need wall breakers if they go running around the place. this is the only class that should be controlled by placement.

Right?! I'm not saying that I want to change every troop, just the one necessary for breaching into a base

What does AI stand for?

Agree with this. Sometimes there is a double wall right around the main defences (not a good idea, but..) and I want my giants to get in there. My wallbreakers' AI will not allow them to do that if there is a single wall near it and thus ruling that out.

By controlling it, many techniques in defence would no longer work, but the larger possibilities in attack make me support this.

It is important to understand each troops strength and weakness. When this foundation is learnt by any member you are able to ascertain where you can best attack a base. And remember when attacking a base you have a few seconds to study the base.

Wall breakers will always hit the wall closest to them when dropped.

I can only suggest to raid more often and re watch your raids to see where troops go and understand why.
