Pausing boosts whenever we want.

So I started a boost before the most recent maintenance break and thought to myself "OMG! I have boost going :( now I've wasted my gems" but then I remembered that my boost was paused and that all was well.

That was a good Idea by supercell, pausing boost, helps save gems for certain people and money for others. My question, why cant we have the option to pause our boosts whenever we want too...other than from maintenance. Sometimes in the middle of a boost I'll have to leave coc, or maybe my dad decides were going out to eat..etc. I know some of you are going to say "plan ahead" well sometimes, you don't know what the future holds...

We should, people who call them racks should not.

I wonder the same thing. I would be great if SC implemented the idea.

No, you'd have more boost time then, leading you to buy LESS boosts. You wouldn't have to buy as many, becuase your boosts wouldn't be ACCIDENTLY ending as much (Less SC money)

I agree, It is about supercell making more money. But they should be able to make money. I don't think that it is out of line for them to charge 50 cents to boost the barracks and spell factory for 2 hours. That is like paying for 1 game in an arcade (in 1995, lol). And you get 2 hours of fun. That is pretty decent value. And, it costs very little.

There are a lot of issues that I have with the game where I think that SC could make it better. But this isn't one of them. I want SC to be a profitable company. And this is one part of the game that I don't think is broken.

FWIW, I only use gems to boost barracks, and I pay for them. I would certainly benefit from pausing the boost, but I don't mind giving them my money for this. IMO, it is one of the only ways to spend real $$$ in the game that makes sense, unless you have money coming our your methane producer.

Supercell would never do that. One of the good things about this game is that you CAN max your base, or do anything without actually paying money for gems. Yes, buying gems will speed things up. But, you can just earn your gems, and end up getting as far just as anyone else

As a clasher that would sure be nice, but for SuperCell that means much less boosting income.

I'm just happy they finally put a pause on maintenance boosts - because we clashers have no control over that one.

As players are can often control when we can put in a 2 hr session.

I actually thought this is what the did last update,while what they did was good they could have made it better by allowing us to pause then restart when we want. Many times i have put off a boost because I only have 1 hour free to clash. There are so many examples you could use as to why this should be added. People are busy with life,kids etc. and can't always spend 2 hours on boost un interrupted.
Or would be good if they could decrease it to 1 hour boost for 5 gems.. Often I have an hour free to clash and would love to be on boost but dnt want to waste an hour of boost..
