Take Golems to level four or get the Queen to five?

GoWiPe being my primary war strategy in the successful war clan that I'm in I am wondering which I should do first. I'm gonna be farming DE and don't know if I should get my Golem to 4 first or get the Queen to 5 first. Whattaya think guys?

I don't know why your queen isn't already level five.

Upgrading from a level four AQ to level 5> almost anything else.

Which is probably a big part of the reason Im struggling to 3 star other TH9's in war

Try Queen to 5 cuz if your queen is only 1 right now, go wipe won't be as effective

If you're farming DE, don't be afraid to upgrade troops, especially ones you can use every war. Getting AQ up should be a priority, but she won't be available in every war where an upgraded troop will be.

Farm hard and do both. I've maxed the war troops I have, so now farmed DE goes to AQ levels.

Okay cool, thanks guys. Im hoping getting the queen up will help me to start getting three stars against other TH9's in war. I seriously get 2 stars VIRTUALLY EVERY SINGLE ATTACK. Which is good of course, but who wants to settle for that? It's reached the point where I almost KNOW I'm going to get 4 stars every war.

It's quite easy to get a 2 star with gowipe. My clan mate who is a new TH9 that uses lvl 1 golems with lvl 2 pekka was able to get 2 stars on a mid TH9.

When my queen was < level 5, it was almost impossible to get a 3 star on TH9s, now there's a good chance of it happening. Hard but possible.

I've actually not seen anyone with level 1 AQ and level 3 or 4 golems. Hahaha. You should really unlock the AQ's ability at level 5, it's definitely gonna help gettin that elusive 3rd star.

Always troops first.

Golems take a good while and odds are the queen is going to be upgrading a ton at TH9 anyway. You aren't going to have her for every battle or not much at all if you are upgrading properly. You will need those higher lvl troops to pull through in war.

I had the queen on pretty much non-stop upgrading at TH9. Wasn't able to use her much at all.

If GoWipe is your primary strat then definitely Golems. Pekkas can somewhat sub in for royals as high damage dealers while they are on upgrade.

Golems on the otherhand, are your primary tank unit and damage soakers for any GO-style attack. They should absolutely take priority in being upgraded as lvl 1 golems have the durability of pebbles. Big difference in lvl 4.
