50% troop reimbursement for survivors

When we go on raids we all know that it take a wile to find someone where we can make a decent gain in loot. So my idea is that we get a 50% reimbursement of any surviving troop after they burst at the end of a raid. This would also help in war I do donations before war and then when I am done I I have little loot. Then when the war starts I scrounge just enough to do both attack so to get 50% reimbursement for those troops would also help. With the way things are I am always broke in elixir and I can tell other people are having the same problem when I go out on raids. keep in mind this does not include clan castle troops or barn king and archer queen summoning let me know what you guys think.

I am mixed with this idea but i say no. Reason, for one you do not have to use all your troops you could be farming the base and use 5 troops and walk away with 100k gold. Second it would make it too easy to advance. Half the bases i see out there do not even upgrade themselves before moving up to the next level some of these guys at the level 10 have pushed for over a year to get there.

Some sort of reimbursement would be useful now that elixir can be dumped into walls. I liked it better when elixir was plentiful and I could continuously donate dragons and use extravagant troops all the time but since we can't as easily anymore, this would be a nice way to help people keep attacking. It does discourage conservation of troops though and attacking efficiently

One possible minor problem might be that it helps people hide resources by training dragons/wall breakers and drop them all on a snipe-able base to get a quick refund. You'd lose more doing that than letting the elixir get raided though but this system might have a way to be exploited that I'm not thinking about

I don't think that saving 50% would cause a drastic increase of progress and I'm not sure what you even mean by that. You seem to be talking about TH rushers but they rush because they have the gold they need. Saving a bit of elixir wouldn't help them rush TH upgrades faster. To some extent, it might even cause less rushing because it becomes easier to max your base.

I see your point but you are talking about players who have been playing before we could upgrade walls with elixir and before spell cost where converted from gold to elixir these days saving elixir resources are hard the problem needs to me addressed

I agree, some form of reimbursement. We get elixir from graves when an enemy attacks, why not from left over troops. I do not like them "Getting absorbed into the ground".

why would sc want to do this? Their income model relies on you burning troops.
