why is this impossible, if he doesn't get attacked that much because he is online and only picks the people out that have a bad defense to attack: it is quite possible.
There's a level 41 with a low th in my clan right now with 2000 cups.
It's not completely unheard of. He's probably just online all the time.
Obviously there are farmers where he can pick off their town hall. However, up at 2000 cups, there are not many. I doubt he will get much higher.
Either he's grinding 16 hours at a time, or he's sniping THs.
I guess. Just thought it quite far fetched to get that high, ESP with low level troops.
My experience say he kill only TH;) i farm at high range 2000-2300 as well, and yes i got lots attack from lower TH5-TH7 at range +2000Quote:

That's the perfect example of how some clans take cups way too seriously, because you know he wouldn't be doing it if he didn't have a clan pushing him to do it. They're basically saying "Hey man, will you help us look good collecting all these cups, and we won't bother telling you that you'll be broke all the time, and unless you gem you're going to get upgrades a lot slower then you should be getting them."

Why so surprised??? I have a town hall 6 in my clan with 2000+ cups and only lvl 3 arch and 110 troop space. She also does not just destroy other people exposed ths but she raids people to get 50+ on outside walls.

The game is full of these little noobs. Going around hitting farmers TH's, the cups don't be long mounting up I'm sure.
However, he's now in the territory where there wont be many TH unguarded - :( for him. At least he's happy in the knowledge he's a top player due to his cups.

his base is very safe from looters/farmers at that trophy level, also alot of high level players would use their storages and collectors as meatshields, finally, there are also abandoned bases ( well more of Im going for a vacation mode players/long weekend off) on that level as wellQuote:

While not remotely the most efficient way to farm, it's also not quite as bad as most people think. A TH6 in that league nets 13k/13k resource per TH sniped, and they have a 200% loot bonus on a TH9 (150% on a TH8) if they happen to snipe an exposed gold or elixir storage. It's gotta be pretty boring doing nothing but sniping TH all day, but it's certainly doable.

its perfectly possible....the top ranked in our clan is a level 35 TH 6 too with 1904 throphies.... our clan is Manila Knights...
