New matchmaking and game difficulty

Sorry for my bad english but I have to recognize that I.ve already bought gems but won't buy anymore if there is no update. I'm 62 with 1900 tr. One attack usually costs me 75k elixir and I never found any camp with more than 50k elixir, spending 40k gold to try to find the right one...

I'll wait till this week end then I may try to loose all my trophies in order to find "normal" camps to attack in order to get enough ressources to increase my defenses. I've a townhall lvl 9 under construction but with this update I'll never have the 3 millions gold to build the x-weapon (sorry, forgot the name....)

I'm afraid a lot of people may quit the game if nothing is done in order to allow us to farm ressources like before... Most of us dońt care about trophies. We first want to have a good camp with good units and good defenses. Trophies will come later...

If you don't care about trophies, then why not drop them all now? 75k elixir is a lot to spend per battle if you don't care about trophies. I usually spend 5k-10k. My full troop build out is 30k.

I have to agree with most....very floored update.
Its like a broken record I know, but I am ticked off that after all the gems and hard work I have achieved a 1600 trophy count at level 44, Now my match fixing matches me up with level 75 with same trophy count. How the hell can I compete or get close to winning against those opponents. And I guess it would be easy for me to lose trophy's like everyone else but why the hell should I, that is what the premise of the game was about I thought. The reward for winning was who has the most trophys....Not to mention the level 60+ that attack me now and walk all over me taking my hard earned trophy's and resources....This needs to be fixed pretty quickly or I with many others will stop spending money and walk....Its a great game and would be a shame to find something else....Thanks guys

Try to get more stronger. Find your natural trophy range and earn your strength. You just simply don't belong in the big boy's throne for now. Now, it's time to do some hard work.

You can't. That's the point. You now have to compete with others of your rank instead of inching up the trophy ladder one or two trophies at a time by attacking weak people.

You complain about fairness while directing Supercell to make the game decidedly unfair. Tell me, what's fair about you being able to ascend the trophy ladder with complete impunity?

Make sure you stick your resource collectors and storages outside of the range of your defenses before you go.

And I really mean this.

Before the update I was totally hooked on the game. Training troops and attacking in a 20-30 minute pattern, breaking my own shield after being attacked without second thought. I spent countless hours every day online.

Now that its hard to find decent matches with enough loot I will tend to sit out my shield, and take things in a more relaxed and detached way. It's only been 12 hours since the update but I already feel somehow relieved that I'll be able to do other things in life.

I wonder if I'm the only one. We should get statistics of the number of matches fought every day, and of how many players there are dropping trophies massively or turtleneck under given shields. Could be an eye opener.

Omfg, I swear ppl complain no matter, what u do!! It's too hard to get trophies, it's too hard to win fights. What a bunch of sooks. Luckily they are not the masses. I for 1 want to say well done Supercell. Match making is a lot fairer now, but can u give a more detailed explanation, ie what the matching is actually based on? Trophies, and also town hall lvl or player lvl? Please advise, would love to know so I can set my strategies accordingly.

I m getting this too, hard to find good loot. But I think the issue is coz everyone is on at the moment to check out the new updates. So I think give it a few days n then see.

Today was a fun one. Started by dropping the nightly trophies but soon found that there's decent loot around and gave up on trophy dropping, instead just looting whatever I was given. A bit of wallwork, one upgrade started.

Tomorrow I'll loot enough to get one more upgrade started, then start my first real battleworthiness test (ie. go for trophies, see where I can get to). I'll buy some gems too, as boosted barracks seemed nice, allowing me to keep attacks going, thus allowing me to play fully for an hour or so (instead of play a bit, wait some, play a bit more, wait again), making game sessions a lot better.

If I keep at it, I'll eventually plateau, unable to win enough to rise further, probably struggling for resources to train troops much less upgrade camp. At which point I'll call the test, drop some trophies to get into lootable range again, and prepare my camp for a new go at later time. I'm still weak, with lots of upgrading to be done before endgame :o

I'll obviously roflstomp some lowbies with overblown egos on my way up, then again when coming down to loot, then a few times to wrung them, and finally just for the lulz :D Have a nice day :cool:

It's only safe to assume that the matches are based on trophies but this time, they narrowed the range. Regarding th level, it has naturally built for TH9ers to face TH8-9 without having to hit next. Now, all fights are I could say, hard fights. If you're a non gemmer, you'll get frustrated for not being able to keep up. If you're a GEMmer you'll get frustrated for having a lot of easy fights. Nomsayin?
