Mid TH7 What to Upgrade Next.....? (and progress)

First of all I would like to apologize if this is in the wrong section of the forum, I was thinking this was a general question, if this isnt the right section and you can move it then please do so =).

Anyways I am mid TH7, I have done alot of the important "first and second priority upgrades" when it comes to TH7, right now Im trying to get Dark Elixir for the Barb King, less than 2,000 left so hopefully I will get it soon.

So if you guys could help me I can tell you what I have so far (what my builders are working on now Ill just call complete) for the sake of simplification.

So far my TH7 Base is the "Mantis Style" just switched it over from a TH6 layout and it has been a long needed change, so what my base has now is.......

4 Builders
All Level 6 Walls (Pink)
Spell Factory, Lab Maxed
Splash Damage Towers, Wizard Towers, Mortars Maxed
Air Defence lvl4 X2 (1 lvl to maxed)
Cannons lvl7 X2 Archer Towers lvl7 X2 (1 lvl to maxed)
Hidden Teslas lvl2 X2 (1 lvl to maxed)
Barracks Lvl 9 X2 Lvl7 X2
Army Camps Lvl 6 X4 (maxed)
Dark Barracks Lvl2 (building lvl2 atm)
Gold Storage X2 Lvl11 (maxed) Elixir Storage X2 Lvl11 (maxed)
Dark Elixir Storage Lvl1

Traps:
Giant Bombs Lvl2 (maxed) Air Mine Lvl1 (maxed)
Bombs Lvl3, Air Bombs lvl2.

Collectors: Elixir 2X lvl8 4X lvl9, Gold 6X Lvl8

So I was thinking either the Teslas or the Archer Towers first followed by the Cannons? Was thinking Archer Towers first because they also target air troops.

Any advice helps, esp if Im missing something. Thank You and I hope to be on this forum for all my Clash questions and to be able to help others aswell =).


Edit also wondering about my Lab Research: So far I have done Archers, Barbs, WBs, Giants, and in the process of Goblins to level 4. I use 7 Dragon/15 Balloons 3 Lightning Spells for war and any TH7 is an easy 100% that way, so I was thinking of doing Balloons first than Dragons, than either Rage, healer or Wizard?

Upgrade help would also help alot too =).

So I started on my Archer Towers, then the Cannons. I suppose I will upgrade my Dark Elixir Storage sometime soon aswell.

While my research is finishing I will work on some of the LVL7 Walls, I might not wait till all the walls are maxed for th8 though

I've been rotating what's being updated.

bombs
resources
free builder for walls

When each of those builders comes free, they get put on what's next on the list. I never have two of the same thing being upgraded at the same time.

Definitely get those rax up ASAP. ATs then cans is a good order, you can put off teslas for a but later.

Healers you can ignore, they won't help you. I would say once you get those rax up, do mass drags in war, btw. So then I would say do the drags, then wizzies, then loons, then rage.

You should do collectors when you get the chance, they help more than ppl say.

If you have the xtra gold, just do the bombs, they don't take long.

Do ADs after cannons, b4 teslas, I'd say.

Whenever you have leftover of either resource, dump it in walls.

My analogy is simple, do the cheapest upgrades first :)

Thanks guys =). Just finished maxing my last Mortar and my second Air Def is lvl4, so 2 lvl4 Air Defs (lvl4 AD looks SO much cooler than lvl3 hahah)

Eventhough its a pain I will probably do the both Air Defs 1 at a time to Lvl5, sucks how long ADs take.....

As far as traps go do the Little Bombs and those Orange Air Bombs even matter that much to upgrade, if at all.....

All my Little Bombs are Lvl3, so 20 damage, Lvl4 makes it 26 damage. 1 Lvl4 Bomb cant even kill a Lvl4 Archer, 2 Cant Even kill a Lvl4 Barb.....

My Orange Air Bombs are Lvl2, 120 Damage ea, upgrading adds 24 damage so 144 damage @ lvl3. I keep them both next to each other, but still even with that 2 lvl3 bombs couldnt even take out a level 1 healer......

Maybe I should look at my base and maybe stack 3 little bombs together, otherwise 1 is pretty much useless......

Really want to do Dragons Level 2, but since it takes 7 days and the Rage Lvl2 only takes 2 it might be a smart thing to do the Rage Spell Lvl2 first, Im leaning towards Dragons though since I use them in war alot lately =).

So after a week of getting 1,000+ Dark Elixir raided from me every night I finally managed to get 10,000 to get the Barb King!!

I dont know if its overkill but I used this Army.....

5-7 Dragons Lvl1
11-19 Balloons Lvl4
Clan Castle: 4 Balloons Lvl5
Spells: 3X Rage lvl1

Only being at 1100 Trophies when starting this and when I finished I was just under 1,000 I had to press the next button SOOOOO many times, but was easier than climbing in trophies for me atleast.

I would only average about 450-500 Dark Elixir each raid, so 230,000 Elixir for 450-500 Dark Elixir.

Would probably have been better off doing triple lightning strikes but boosted the barracks which helped speed things up nicely.


Cuttently Upgrading:

Archer Tower 1/4: Lvl8
Cannons 2/5: Lvl8
Dark Barracks Lvl2

Rage Spell Lvl2

Going to train try to get the 2mil Elixir for Dragons Lvl2 while the Rage Spell is going Level 2.

You want keep your research going at all times. It take's longer to max out then builder building's, IF you are going to upgrade minion's and hog's. I currently have everything maxed(including barb king level 5 and wall's) and just sitting on research and collector's( left them at level 8 as I am a raider and not a farmer ). But maxing everything before I go to TH8. I found DE was hard to get until you get to the 1400+ range. Then you find some nice 1k de raid's. and a few 2-3k raid's that were from max drill's and zapping.

First thing I'm going to do at TH8 is upgrade the lab as it takes 147 days for it to research everything and I believe 130 days with 4 builder's.

Oh wow 147 days to complete all the research, that sounds crazy.....


Currently on the last steps in maxing my TH7, but I think the Lvl7 walls costing 35mil in gold/elixir will take longer than I think.....

Not including what my builders are completing now I still have left.....

2x Archer Towers 7 --> 8
1x Tesla 2 ---> 3
2x Air Def 4 ---> 5
1x DE Storage 1 ---> 2
2X Barracks 7 ---> 9 (hate upgrading them bc it slows things down by alot!)

Traps are pretty much useless but I wi9ll do them if I have free builders....

6X Bomb 3 ---> 4
2X Air Bomb 2---> 3


Right now I am upgrading my Dragons to Level 2, 6 days left on that. What I have left I am going to do in the order that I have listed the upgrades.

Wizard 3 ---> 4
Healer 1 ---> 2
Rage 2 --->3 3 ---> 4
Heal Spell 3 ---> 4

If I have enough DE I would upgrade Hogs or Minions, would rather upgrade Hogs but Minions only cost 10k DE while Hogs Cost 20k.

I can decide these while I am working on my walls......

Might upgrade some collectors if the walls take REALLY long currently my pumps are....

6x Gold Mine Level 8
2x Elixir Pump Level 8
4x Elixir Pump Level 9

Pumps are the least important thing to me eventhough some people disagree, would aerther raid than wait for my pumps hahaha.

Lets see how long it takes to get to TH8 =).

So Im about to upgrade to TH8, everything is maxed except 87 of my walls (half way done!), and my collectors are all level 9's. 2 Barracks are Level 7 now that I think about it, I will upgrade those when I dont want to tie up a barrack with upgrading them.

Should I wait till I have like 40 walls left then start the TH8 upgrade?

Should I start now? What do you guys think?

Barb King Lvl1, Minions Lvl1, Hogs Lvl1.

Only research left besides the Dark Elixir Research is Rage Spell Level 4, which I am starting in 12hours when my heal spell level 4 finishes.....
