[Question] Why was Player Search ruled out?

I do not understand why a great and really useful sugestion as a "player search" option was ruled out. You can search for clans but not for a friend, which is REALLY annoying.

If a friend of you was kicked from your clan and you want to search for him to see in which clan is he so you can join it and talk with him... It is weird.

Don´t delete this topic, I am not suggesting this, I am just asking why It was ruled out, as the main post doesn´t give any explanation.

Privacy, plus the fact that there are a lot of ppl with the same name out there.

Wrong sub-forum for starters but its so players can't be followed by trollers/stalkers.

For example- if things went sour with your clan and they threw abuse at you. Would you really want them to follow you to your next clan? And the clan after?
