How to farm elixir

Ok, elixir seems to be insanely low and has been for a while for me now. I do not know how to farm elixir in large amounts at the minute. Please could someone send a strategy for farming elixir in high amounts? I AM NOT fond of collector farming, so please DO NOT post about that. If you visit this page, be sure to mention something.

The obvious goal is to keep your army cheap, barch or straight archers is the best route, and take along 6-8 wall breakers. You don't have to collector farm, but you should take them out if you come across full ones; the only other option is to keep an eye out for people that put there storage's on the outer wall or 2 walls in.

This is working well for me, especially now that I only have elixer upgrades to do. This is also working for DE farming, although slow since most DE is in the center of the base.

Ok, thank you. I was thinking to hog rider storage farm. Would that work well?

I've thought about using hog riders for DE farming, but they are sooo expensive, at lvl4 they are 58 de each, and you would probably need 15-20 to make a solid raid, and maybe even need to supplement with heal spells.

You could use 10-15 giants, 6-8 wb's, and then the rest archers, but that would be slow to build and a little less cost effective, seemed to work ok for me when I was gold farming though.

My point is that farming with hogs is expensive, but if you have DE to blow, then by all means go for it. :rolleyes:

Go to Crystal III been here for two weeks and have gained 8,000,000 elixir in the past 5 days. Non-stop overflow.

Yeah just barch. Surprisingly there are a bunch of collector raids up here, and along with the league bonus you will constantly be gaining.
