Update!!!!!!!

This is what's been up so far. If you agree, reply putting +1 etc.

At the start of next month, we hit off with a beginner and advanced competitions. The first comp, you get to choose where you're going. As is the actual competition of Beginners and Advanced. The comp will go for one month, then the next month, the COMMITTEE will try to fit people into different categories and perhaps provide a schedule/list and all the preparations needed to know. Including proper rules of each competition like Panda stated before: Max Size: 500 x 300 (THIS IS AN EXAMPLE SIZE!!!) and many more rules.

This COMMITTEE will consist of people who aren't actually participating, around 4-5 people at least/most. They will decide experience of people based on a few of the artist's works. Then a list will be given out and people will be notified each stage of the comp.

This group MUST be a fair judge and not be biased whatsoever. Daddy will be the Mod and God of these Comps for as long as he lives :rolleyes:.

Extra Info: When the Committee thinks possible and ready, another comp will be added to everything called the Expert Comp (Just kidding we don't actually have a decided name yet :p)

Okay I'll take the concept of having 7 people including Daddy. But I'm looking for some confirmation from other on the fact of what the people should be (artists and con-artists...)

The committee could be selected by Daddy offering people the job for one round, if they wanna enter instead, he'll pick another person...

Simple. BUT DIS JUST POPPED ME AN IDEA! Could we have a rotating committee to give everyone a fair chance at judging??? It might be a bit more complicated and flames can occur saying: "BUT IF IT WAS REC HE WOULD'VE LET ME BE BEGINNER ......................."

That is prob the most reasonable. Also as for volunteers not trying to boast or anything but me and Raw could be pretty nice ;) I wanna participate but again id rather help idk why it just makes me feel good.

Committee is only 1 mod (Daddy) 3 Non Graphic Artists for just some basic votes on what people think with no graphical knowladge and just based on appearance and 3 graphic artists there cant be a huge comittee if you guys were thinking there is lol

We can even make it more complex, members can battle each other simultaneously. X vs y nov 15 x vs k nov 16. Or whatever.
**if a member does not submit, it's an automatic win for the other.
***members cannot battle each other over and over, a cool down rule should be implemeted: you cannot battle the same person twice in a row. After 3 battles, you may fight that person again.
**** a list of available members waiting for battle should be created. After a member has finished a battle, they can pick someone on the list or, if no1 is on there, put themselves up there and wait for someone. If a member has been sitting on that list for too long, the mod will randomly pair them up. There's no time for rest, this is war!
***** after the first battle! where every1 is paired randomly, the next battles are by choice. However, if u are challenged, u cannot refuse! In addition, the challenger, as u win more and more, ur notoriety increases, ur only allowed to challenge other members with wins! (Near the same notoriety) this deals with the beginner advanced stuff u all so worried about.
******voting is by members, 150+ Posts or something. Or if the sc staff wants to do it, idc.

*******final note!! This takes a lot of preparation and moderating, it's fairly complex, but the ability of the moderator to keep everything organized and smooth is essential!

yup yup , hopefull Daddy delivers some good news when he gets on. IF he does and its possible Ill write a summary of everything for him so he understands instead of reading thhrough these millions of comments, once thats then again like I said if he lets us create sub sections and stuff we will let those come in and then start getting to work :D

Second one, the more the better but 1000 is the limit , I mean since its a monthly competition im sure we should get atleast enough to buy something in game and stuff since im sure everyone will put their best shot into this.

I dont play the game that much anyway so another reason why I wanna be a helper >_>

Name and 3 of your works. You decide which ones you put in. The length of time you've been doing GFX doesn't determine your experience so including that in is just completely useless.

"You decide which ones you put in". That could be manipulated pretty easily. An unknown artist could post three terrible works, then just smash the beginners. I think 3 MOST RECENT and 3 BEST can stamp that out

It's pretty simple really. We all know the good artists here. If they try to go to begginers the commitee will be smart and move them. We should just trust the people anyways. If people who aren't begginers win begginers that can simply be solved by switching them to advanced in the end and using the next top 3 begginers.

And, if people are really going to act like little kids just to win a comp for free, essentially, then when they post the work, the committee, taking on their responsibility, finding that the post is suspicious, look through the artists threads and posts and if there are better artworks, then he's banned to compete for that month.

Sounds good. Like I said though, it will be organized. Doubt the criteria etc with be decided soon....
