Since the Committee came in, I was hoping to give the last week to get the committee sorted for the next competition which starts Week 5/the start of the month. Or having the 3 week cycle will confuse people...
My version would look something like this:

Day 1: Notification sent to ALL those in that competition.
Week 1: Entries start filling in...
Week 2 & 3: Voting starts, no more entries.
Week 4: Committee plans next comp and Results released whenever possible in the week...

Would this work?? It'd make 2 jobs at once though....

NOTE 2: If im right, Daddy NEVER said we are doing 1st, 2nd, 3rd places. Plus, because of it the gem amount is kinda low (:rolleyes:), so we might be better if only 1st place got the gems(btw this is not making a big deal. Simply a suggestion). Daddy did only say the winner will get the gems. So if thats the case we could

Advanced winner: 1000 gems
Beginner winner: 750 gems

its better in my opinion. We could lower it a bit if Daddy thinks it is too much.

If im right, someone(maybe blackbeltpanda, correct me if im wrong) said that the winner should have a cooldown, which is one competition. And i agree with it.

So who agrees with this reply??

Yeah, I agree with this. SEE doesn't ussualy give out gems so we shouldn't be to greedy.

1 week of entries and 2 weeks of vote or 2 weeks of entries and 1 week of votes???

I think you guys said that in 1st comp, people choose where they go. And in 2nd comp, we place everyone in one of the groups. Beginner or advanced. Right?

Yeah, my suggestion.
itd be good since we don't know what level we're at yet, and so this can be a trial where we get to know our limits and then be organised into Groups.

How about half half? 3 weeks, 7 days a week.

3 x 7 = 21 days

so half half would be 10.5 days of entries and 10.5 days of voting. Simply open up the entry thread in the middle of a day. After that day, 10 more days

then voting starts at the exact same time entries began. Then that day is over, 10 more days and ....

success! comp 1 is done :)

Will this do?

Day 1: All artists in that competition get notified about the thread via PM/VM.
Week 1 and 2: Entries fill the museum. (A closed thread ATM)
Week 3: Museum thread opens and Voting is permitted.
Week 4: The Committee generates new ideas for the next competition and posts results.

And yeah, the committee needs that 1 week for a lot of replacing and all. That's why there's 6 of them (excluding Daddy) to share the work.
