Ergh - town hall 10 loot sucks

I am one of those kind of people that looks at the loot threads and thinks, well hey I am doing ok, maybe they are using wrong army or in the wrong range.

But today in particular loot is shocking, I started with 364k gold (I'm wall farming so staying low), nexted so much that when I found something worth raiding (152k gold) I ended up making a 15k gold profit.

All that time and effort searching for 15k gold!!! :mad:

I am an advanced town hall 10 barching in crystal 2 league.

I think it is about time Supercell removed or reduced the nexting cost, especially for town hall 10. Can't continue on days like this, just want to shut the ipad and not play.

I did try farming in master with loons, but don't like sitting watching troops train when I am farming.

Yeah loot is still a fraction of what it once was. Be prepared for the 'suck it up' and 'you can't expect loot to be handed to you on a plate' posts.

To the OP - look up - there is a "one and only loot thread".

reason for it is to stop the forums being buried in loot complaint spam... A truly great idea from the mod Daddy.

so please respect the rest of the forums users and if you have something to say about loot do it in the loot sticky.

I would give my suggestion to try barching in master... But every time I do, haters come hatin.

Good idea to declutter the forum, but also let's hide all the complaints in one thread so it looks like there is less of a problem. There is becoming a huge problem for town hall 10 in terms of loot.

Sorry if you felt I didn't respect the forum, that wasn't my intention, I just think everyone complaining in a sticky masks the problem.

I could try giving that a go, but I try and have one hero down at all times so sometimes drop cups. The loot bonus is nice if you get the win. Many thanks for your suggestion.

Even if you just find a base with 50k gold. The loot bonus makes it worth while.
I did 10 lavas in one day. (Farming in champ)

Yeah. Even if OP attack the very first base he found at random, league bonus alone would give 50 k at crystal 2. How can a 15 k profit actually happened ?

I was actually looking for a base with enough loot to make it worth attacking when I did attack I missed out on the 50% so therefore didn't get a win bonus.

I won 152 gold so must have hit next 137 times to find that base. I didn't see the point in attacking a base just for a 50k bonus if it didn't have loot, as I didn't want to sit around watching for my army to replenish. As it was I probably wasted more time hitting next than waiting on troops.

Yeah, with peoples exposed storages combined with a 180k loot bonus, resources are bountiful.
And with the addition of elixir being used for walls, it's all too easy. (Once you know how)

Lol i'm a max th10 beside my heroes, my walls, and some of my troops. Loot is fine, you just need to learn how to raid storages.

Is this the start of you are a bad player if you are having a problem replies? I cook a quick army to raid faster, but yes barch wont always get into the core of a base. I am quite capable of raiding storages thanks, I usually go higher in cups and use loonion for that, but as I have said I prefer to have a faster army.

BAM roughly 87/80/28 with 6 wbs (still finishing last camp) anywhere from Crystal 1 to Gold 1. If you are attacking for Gold/Elixir, this has been a great range to maintain cups and win decent loot plus bonus. Getting dark elixir and maintaining cups was a little harder. I occasionally find full inactives (every 15 or 20 attacks), I find a lot of sem-inactives (every 3 or 4 attacks), and I hit a lot of storages of poorly designed preemie 9s and 10s. The amount of those preemies is staggering. I reserve Rage/Jump, heroes, and CC to use sparingly to maintain cups or make a big score. I quit battles early to keep heroes, particularly queen, alive.

I probably next under 25-50 times (sometimes only a couple) every battle because I settle for bases that offer some nice combo if I can also get 50% or th for loot bonus:
If there is a reachable 200K of just gold/elixir, I might still attack.
If there is a reachable 150K of both, I might attack.
If there is over 1200 reachable DE, I will probably attack.
With league bonuses (Crystal 1 65k/65k/300 without difficulty maintaing cups) and fast build times, I've done ok.

When I boost (wife is out with friends, kids in bed), I boost two regular barracks and maybe Queen so I can search 25-50 nexts and come back to a nearly full army.

Stop playing in noob league. Loot is plenty in 2700+. And 100k/120k loot bonus pays for your army by itself

Go to champ. farm with loons. 300-550k gold per raid. You have to work to get the loot. No barching for collectors.

I was in champ before the update that increased the league, when I farm up there with loons my elixir is ♥♥♥♥ though.

Well,i stopped farming for 2 months and i just started farming again.Loot is kinda good,but it depends on the time of day.In the morning (from 7am to 10 am CET) loot is best for me.After 10 nexts average loot is 150k+,but 75% of it is storage raids and i don't want to waste too much of my troops because i would waste all my troops on one storage lol.Later in the day loot becomes lot and lot worse.Around 6pm CET average loot after 10 nexts is less than 45k and every single one is storage raid.I am a town hall 8 (got it 4 days ago:))

Loons don't take up too much elixir. Im filling my elixir storages up here farming with loons and spells.

Doesn't seem to work for me, I mean I can get by but not gain to a point I can spend it on upgrades.

Loot flat out *sucks* for TH10, hiding the complaints in one thread only serves to hide the fact that the end game in CoC is dead. TH9 was tons of fun, now I just spend my time scratching for the league bonus with cloned Barch attacks so boring that I am wondering why I even load the game up anymore. I blame Infernos - they literally make most units completely useless unless you want to toss so many spells at them that you are only going to turn a profit by pulling in 300/300. Grinding Heroes under these conditions is a pretty bleak existence, I firmly believe that the decision to allow walls to be bought with elixir is the turning point for this game and nothing they do will ever bring loot back again.
