Eh, are you sure? I dont think its marginal in comparison to th9. You get an upgrade for lab. Th10 also does.(With some exceptions, like rage lvl 5 and balloons, nothing is maxed in a th9 lab, maybe hounds).
Th9 is the best, I was just forced to upgrade to th10(just yesterday) after im done with legos.
But seriously, th9 is by far the most enticing to go to than any other th's.
I am a maxed defense TH10 (minus BK, AQ and zaps) and I think TH9 is the coolest townhall level in game. It looks best. It packs more punch and you get a chance to beat the $hit out of weak TH10 who thinks two infernos gonna protect their premature bases from being destroyed by lower level. And of course, if you come across lowly TH8 you once were, you can also level their bases for mere 10% penalty. Who doesn't love that?
And if you're crazy like some people are, you can farm both your heroes to level 30 while farming your lava at the same time. I see them TH9 with level30 heroes and full lavas. Most of them roll like a boss!
TH10 is cool and all, but not as cool as TH9.
Giants, healers, loons, heal spell, hogs, valks and witch all max at th9, rage maxes at th8 and only until recent update barch was maxed too. Th10 only give the last 1 lvl to the rest, so why not stay th9 and max them out with better loot as allowed to suffering from being a premature th10? You dont need freeze to 2 star a th10, you only need freeze to help a 3 star.Quote:

I was not aware of all troop levels. The intent of this thread wasnt to become a premature th10. My opinion on this topic is when you should upgrade. Not to do lvl 30 heroes and all lavas. No, doing all that wastes time, the most important thing in this game is time. Lvl 8 walls and lvl 15 heroes is enough. If you can do more before your builders are sleeping, fine. But maxing completely is a waste of time.Quote:

Move to a higher TH whenever you "feel" like doing.
You know if it's the right time & if it feels right.
CoC is a game of patience, not just all strategy.
Patiently upgrading and seeing your bases improve everyday is fun in itself.
Rushing is fun too until you are right there & suffered the consequences (bullied by lower THs, lower loots, etc.)
I know this thread basically inspired by the "No TH10" thread last week that caught the attention of many, because it's true.
But this? More like a troll thread if you ask me.
