I'm currently max th8 apart from my bk who is upgrading to level 7. Should I wait to max my my bk which could take around 4 weeks, or just go to th9 now. I farm a lot btw

Save up at 6M gold / elixir,40K DE, and 5 free builders... then make the jump.
Or just do the upgrade and save all that loot during the upgrade days of the TH
Time it perfectly. It takes 10 days to upgrade TH8->9 so when you have 10 days left for BK upgrade make the move. Just keep farming and get that DE so your BK will be down from now until you hit TH9. Then go into TH9 with completely maxed resources.
If you farm a lot, this shouldn't be a problem.
