Suggestion to prevent unauthorised devices from opening your village.
My idea doesn't target any change regarding the game play, I'm targeting a security problem that is mainly the worst thing that can ever happen for those who own an iOS device.
We all know that in case your village was loaded on an iOS device, it will stay there forever until the device is reset.
sometimes, your village may end up in someones hands in many unintentional ways ( your password is easy to guess, OR you deleted the game from your device ( without a reset ) and gave it away, OR you backed up your device data to iTunes and someone restored his device from your backup. many different scenarios where all will lead to your village loaded on another device that you don't own and if your village is somehow well upgraded, i don't think that the one who get it will remove it from his device.
Contacting Supercell support will take you through a procedure of verifying ownership and after that is done, your village will be locked on every device that it is loaded on. ( seems good for now )
Also u will be offered an Unlock\Link code that will do the following :
1- Remove the link of your village from Previous Game center and Google account
2- Allow you to link it to new or old accounts again
3- Unlock the village and make it accessible
Now if u think you are safe and u gained back full access for your village you are wrong, because whenever you unlock your village back with the code offered by SC support, it will be unlocked from every device that has your village loaded on it regardless if he is signed in to game center or not. so that will take you back to the starting point and you will never be able to get rid of this.
My idea for a solution is why doesn't Supercell apply a new security procedure where whenever a new version of the game is released, just like the user wont be able to load the village before upgrading the game version, the user also wont be able to load the village unless he is signed in to game center or at least force him to log in first before loading the village. in this way, Supercell will guarantee that only the owner of the accounts will be able to access his village, and in the same time this will reduce the complaints of people about getting another device connecting message.
I really hope this idea will be taken into consideration because it helps a lot and in the same time it will guarantee more that the only person that can open the village is the real owner.
