How can i punish those stinking zappers?

Im tired of being zapped for thousands of dark elixir and not being able to revenge because the guy is sitting behind a shield or is online 24/7. If we cant stop the zappers we atleast need a way to punish them! My idea is to have lightnings drop on his troops on diffrent other attacks. (I know that is an aweful idea but they need to suffer the consequences just as much as i suffered when he barched my drills and triggered traps worth 40k gold and wasted 40k xbow ammo)
tl;dr- i hate them zappers and i want them to suffer!

Stop complaining.. It's part of the game.

When I was in crystal - i rarely got zapped. Simply because, why would they? They can snipe my town hall and get DE + resources for minimal effort.

Same logic applies in M3 as well. Your resources will be well defended. Provided, you are ready to spend the time to get back the trophies you lost when you are sniped, and stay in that league.

Now I am in Silver II - I enjoying the collector raids - the only downside - I got zapped for 2000 DE total in 4-5 attacks. But, I am not mad cause it's a choice I made and it was a forgone conclusion that my DE won't last in a league filled with TH6 and TH7.

See if you can get a revenge on them, and zap them back. Maybe they'll even have their th on the outside so you get a couple trophies too. Thats what I do! :cool:

Dang, then they are playing the game wrong IMO xd. Why zap when you can take 50 percent with barch, earn trophies and get a decent league bonus as well. Why the hell would anyone spend 60K+ to 100K+ Elixir just to get DE at that level. Most people there are good raiders and can raid centralized DE storage's.

On a personal note: I never revenge a TH7 if he/she zaps me. Anybody else do get revenged. I also do not revenge anyone who actually uses good army comps to get my DE, he/she earned it.

Read up on one a few DE farming guide and avoid the trophy levels they recommend people farm in. Crystal 3 is usually the start.

See that button on your defense log that says 'Revenge'? Push it.

I always try to revenge them (if they aren't constantly hiding)
What I like to do too is dropping one zap on their DE tank right before it's destroyed by my troops, as a statement ^^

By the same logic why do you keep reading zapping threads if it annoys you so much? Just like being a troll?

When I was a th7 I didn't often zap but when I did I generally appreciated the revenge because it was usually from a th9/10 with a big loot bonus. They would only take half as much as a th8 would when they rolled through the base.

OMG bro get used to it! It's part of the game! There will never be any punishment! I get zapped and I could careless, you act like DE is hard to get.

When someone zaps dark elixir they usually hardly take any... And if u really can't make that up.... Go up in the crystal league to get some back.... If ur high enough town hall (th7) and u can't get to the crystal league, u must either have a rushed base or u lack common sence.

I say find some people with 3k DE and zap them. It's part of the game.

I seriously haven't been zapped in weeks. Been sitting around 2K cups. I used to zap a lot as well, cause it was how I could fund my DE stuff, but I don't need to anymore. It's a phase people go through. If you didn't zap DE storage when you were TH7 and maybe 8, then you probably went through too much effort to afford DE upgrades.

Just delete the game, no one will see that coming.

You revenge them. It might take time for an opportunity to arise, but when it does, it'll be sweet.

I was zapped last night for 700 DE and TH snipped, and I continuously clicked revenge (as I watched running man) until he got off. Then I crushed him for 1000 DE and 45 trophies. He didn't have a ton of loot (a little less than 200K combined), but it was worth it.

I'm a th10 and have been getting zapped by th8's. What I do is revenge them for 3 stars and take whatever loot they have available.

I haven't been zapped in ages, but I kept my basic TH8 design my whole time as a TH9.

Today I made a more fitting TH9 base utilizing everything. Today I was zapped twice. :mad:

Saving up for this AQ upgrade is going to be rough... :(

For the longest time i was wondering what zapping, zappers are, I got attacked by a zapper and now know what it is,
so for the first time using lightning spells lvl 4 x 3, was fun and easy to get de, imo if a zapper attacks you just destroy his base. Happy clashing. Zapping/Zappers are fun.

Ive never seen a zapping problem beyond 2000. And i easily get up to 80/90k without getting much stolen much less zapped. You're doing something wrong....

Now I am TH10 I pretty much never drop below 2,000. And more often around 2,200+. I still get the odd zap, but not quite as much as I did as a TH9 in the Gold leagues. Up here zappers want cups too so have always shielded me in the process. So I'm cool with that.

One of my clanmates is in Masters III and was zapped 4 times in a row by noobs.

I was zapped last night by a level 69 TH10 with no IT's and level 1 X-bows. He has a full DE tank (mommy's credit card bill will be high again).

Been hitting that revenge button non stop but he's always online or his premmie base is flattened..

Would you rather have someone push deep into your base to take all your DE, or some zapper to take less than 1k and give you a shield.

I can live with a good attacker penetrating the core and taking some DE.

Um, probably because they do not have de as league bonus?

You want farm gold/elixir -> stay under 2000

You want farm dark elixir -> stay over 2000

Dark elixir is really easiest resource to get nowadays. Yes,there is still de zappers at gold/silver leagues, but very rarely at crystal or higher. I'm upgrading heroes at around 2200 trophies and de hovering around 40k-100k. Almost never zap. If you say zapping is problem at higher leagues, you are liar :cool:

Put your th outside and you might get zapped once or none all all. If you protect your th and got zapped in a row consider it your choice of exchanging de for trophies.

You are that advanced and still crying about zappers? Lol wow. DE is so easy to farm who big deal if you get zapped nice in awhile i chuckle when someone does it to me.

Those that zap are those that want some extra DE and do it because they need it, not for fun and i dont see the problem in it anyway.. it cost them some energy using them not like they are free to produce... and yea its annoying these days revenge is either user online or already has a free shield seems many has th outside to get free protection...

Most zappers are really badly rushed th9s and 10s who arent even worth revenging

Agreed, Especially since the % of De you can get from lightning spells on th storages is VERY Low. Using lightning spells to get a tiny bit of De isn't worth it and it's a loss-loss situation. So it mostly happens when your revenging someone who took your loot or/and smashed your base.

I can understand, most of these zappers drop 5 spells and take more than 1500 de from me, but when i revenge them most of them being th7 or 8 hardly give out any loot...

I attack them and end at 39% before giving them a shield, and let others take some more too...

but thats 1 out of 10... the rest 9 have a infinite shield

Some people trap their TH, I like to zap on occasion........ Especially when I see so many people get wound up so much by it........


Most zappers are probably noobs, kids or trolls ...... the noobs and kids will probably grow out of it, when they realise there are cheaper, quicker and easier ways to get DE.......


Trolls, will still zap, because its fun to get the whinging little girlies so wound up about being zapped, they start frothing at the gussett and coming over all righteous about zapping, and they'd rather be attacked properly, etc... blah, blah, blah ,.........



If you ever get zapped by a mid th9, feel free to revenge me... you can try the old "steal it all and leave at 39%", but no one has ever managed it yet ... (a few have two or three starred me, and got loads of loot - lifes not perfect...)

Not true, I have my th outside for as long as i can think of, In crystal, masters, gold 1 you name it, i get zapped. It used to be th7 and th8 but most recently even th10 zappers.

Last 6 of the 9 attacks on me have been zappers... irritating

So to clarify, you are sat at exactly the trophy range most people go to collect DE. You are then upset that people are taking your DE?

I sat at this range for the whole of TH7 and am now higher, now that I am TH8 (around 2150). If you want to protect your DE you need to play at a higher trophy level where people going for easy DE are not going to be playing.

1.) So why am I only zapped once a month at 2000 as a th9 with th outside (not even in the Corner, but only outside of the wall in front of the defenses). Being zapped once a week or every few days is not a Problem. I remember the times where I was at th8 farming the dark elixir (and 6 Million elixir) for the queen and lvl6 giants after the upgrade. I got wiped out twice a day by high th9s (lvl20+ heroes, mages and full spells). I think I lost about 4K every day, so do not complain if you loose 1K once a week, if you have more than 50K available.

2.) Most of the Players that complain about being zapped are the maxed th10s with th inside at silver1. If you offer nothing to a normal attack (no th snipe, no full mines, no Gold/elixir in Storages that the attacker could get), you should not complain about Players that only go for your dark elixir and the cheapest way of getting dark elixir is simply zapping the storage down, if no other ressources are available.

So just to clarify, you are one of those who cant read... Im not complaining about losing DE im complaining about not being to sit on those noobs because they are either already flatened or they are sitting behind fluffy bunny online shields.

I go down my revenge list and revenge anyone that has zapped me. It is rare that they ever drop off the list.

Personally I think its part of the game. I don't like it but I cant say I haven't done. If it happens to me I usually will see if they are worth revenging and then I destroy the base or zap right right back haha.

I had an interesting one yesterday they zapped my de in a way that it took 50k of both of my resources along with 1k de. They also barched my base and triggered all my traps. All in all I think this stupid zapped raid cost me 100k of both resources, without them even touching my storages. Rather stupid...

What's there to be dealt with? Morality aside, Zapping in all likes is fair and equal. By utilizing and manipulating the nature of the spell, any player can start Zapping. People are just to stubborn to start. they will sit by while their DE is Zapped away, complaining that we found a way to circumvent your Defenses, while you could be doing the same thing to others. We have elixir, we convert it to DE. Same process as raiding...

The only real problem this game has now is the loot. The rest of it is fantastic. Including zapping little complainers like you. I hope a new lightening level comes out. Zap zap zap!

SC has stated that zapping won't be changed because it is a feature with a purpose. It is supposed to be irritating. All of these threads are proof that it is working exactly as designed. Since it is working perfectly it can not be fixed by definition.

What on earth are you talking about? Its not about whether people like zapping or not, its about whether or not people zap in the first place.
People raid for either resources or cups.
Once upon a time there was santa strikes which allowed people to zap th and get cups with just spells, but that was changed almost immediately due to it ruining high level gameplay (A pro zapper said this on a previous thread, I'm not sure if this was indeed the case).
Given that people raid for either resources or cups, and how getting cups with just spells is no longer possible, it should follow that getting resources with just spells should also not be happening.
Get it? There is an objective precedence for changing the mechanics of the lightning spell.

Lucky you're not a mod? These threads are almost always on the front page and I have yet to see someone be banned simply for saying that they think zapping shouldn't be allowed. Unfortunately for you they don't let trolls who just complain about people having an opinion be mods here.

You keep making this analogy and it's inherently flawed. The loot and trophy systems are totally different. If you could get a third of all of a person's resources (gold, de, and elixir) by zapping one storage then it would be like getting a third of all of a person's cups by zapping their townhall. Since you can't do either it's a horrible comparison.

It doesn't matter if the percentage of what you get is different, the underlying concept is the same and as I had stated, it was possible to do one before but it isn't now which is inconsistent

the thing you need to understand is that the whiners and complainers are such a minority. there very well may be hundreds of people that complain about this, but when you compare that to the thousands or tens of thousands of people that either like it and want it to stay or simply are not concerned enough to warrant an opinion one way or another, SC feels it doesnt need to be dealt with. that is the point. it isnt that SC just doesnt care what you guys think and dont see it as an issue. it is that the overwhelming majority of players has said it is not an issue worth changing. so SC is simply going with the majority. it could also be that even if the majority of the people are the complainers, they dont care. it is their game and if they want zapping apart of the game, they will leave it in.

the things that the whiners and criers fail to grasp is that this is available to anyone to use. this does not make it unfair but equal to everyone. just because you feel some higher morality or think it is beneath you as a tactic is completely irrelevant. it is still available for you to use, YOU simply choose not to use it.

bottom line, the WHOLE point of this game is to steal other people's resources. ♥♥♥♥ with your whiny crying about one specific way someone steals your loot.

sometimes i wish i was a MOD just so i could close and lock every single one of these pointless zapping complaint threads. whiners and complainers, take note. you have lost. it isnt changing.

If they are such a minority then there wouldn't be enough complaints to warrant people like you threatening to ban people (LOL), and no point looking at polls since most people that play this game are most likely below th9, and its only really a problem in th10 where you could lose over 2k from zaps in each raid. Also some people would like to see it changed but don't think it will be so just become ok with it, that doesn't mean that they wouldn't be happy if it wasn't possible to zap resources.

i didnt threaten to ban anyone, that is just nonsense.
no, i simply want to close these nonsensical threads as they appear.

i say minority because every single time an anti-zapper makes his post, there are much more people who are in favor than oppose. go search for an zapper post, there may be a few anti-zappers, making a case. but most are people like me saying its part of the game, get over it, we like it, etc.

also, it isnt that there are too many complaints making this a highly vocal issue, it is that it is the same argument over and over again. it is like the people that come on here and want a gem collector. no matter how many times someone says it has been ruled out. the next day, like clock work, someone is on here with their very first post saying how good an idea it is if we could just mine gems. which it is, i think, but SC gotta make their money.

i have digressed. the issue at hand is when you have posts like this one. the title says it all. "how can i punish those stinking zappers?" the OP seems to think that zappers are somehow exploiting a glitch, or that it is just so unfair for me to zap his DE. well, wake up sunshine. it is neither.

if you want something to be changed, you have to provide a viable and rational explanation for why. you cannot just make a complaint of how much you dont like it, you have to provide evidence and facts to support your complaint. not a single anti-zapper has done that.

The common ground that both share is that they the only things that are gained and lost through raids, which is the main focal point of this game. If you think that doesn't make them comparable then you're just being ludicrous.

The last time I got zapped was when I was pushing to masters at c2 and lost 300 de for a nice +29 cup trade.

They should make it so you only get 1/3 of the loot available once youve destroyed all storages, there are 9 for th10. And you should only get 2/3 of the loot available once you've destroyed 50% of their resource buildings. And you should only get 100% of the loot available only after you have completely destroyed all of their base.

Yes you can get both by raiding, so what? You dont get cups by going to war but you get loot. Entirely different systems. You just want to arbitrarily assign one specific rule for both of them.

I'm not saying they should be the same, its just in the grand scheme of things they have similarities, but within those similarities there are some disparities that don't make rational sense. Despite the fact that some people raid for resources and other people raid for cups, SC decided that you cant use just spells with no troops to gain cups like you could with the santa spell at one time (as it lacks strategy) but the problem persists with raiding for resources. By not allowing people to gain cups with just spells due to its effect on gameplay they obviously don't want the spell to be used in that way, but spells are being used that way by some farmers, it only makes sense that if they don't want it to be used for pushing it shouldn't be used for farming either, as farming is another style of gameplay that is being ruined by zaps the same way santa strikes ruined pushing.
Also in war you raid for stars which is effectively the same as cups.

Here's what you do.

Cook 11 Dragons, some rage spells. Then hit that revenge button and smash the zapper :rolleyes:

lightening... working as intended.
