Archers, what's gone wrong?

Well since the update my Archers have developed Alzheimers. They seem to lose their way, attack targets that are some distance away (rather than nearest) and hardly ever work together!

They were one of the strongest troops in the game; however, now they're just like a Nan who has walked out the house, in the middle of the night, in just her nighty.

Why do they attack mines before weapons, why do they no longer fire together at the same wall section and why do they drop their soup in their laps!

Can't we have our old Archers back...............please?

Well something changed, because they now act differently and I noticed it after the patch.

Lots of stuff changed, not archers though.

Could just be that their behavior was less detrimental to their survival before the update. Might be noticing their stupidity more because it is now costing them their lives. As we know, archers are particularly vulnerable to splash damage. Now that that splash targeting has been corrected, the potential lifespan of an archer has been reduced. I know I have noticed a big change with splash sensitive troops (archers and gobs).

IMO they should've fixed splashed and seen the impact before adding an extra wiz tower to th9 also, but that's another story. Testing things properly requires resources that multi million dollar companies don't have, apparently :)

I made a thread about this yesterday myself. Yes, they act different for me as well. Could be because i just recently upgraded them to level 4....but i doubt it. Their targeting has gotten horrible. Heres a screen shot i caught last night because I was getting frustrated after they were giving me trouble all day yesterday. The pic doesnt show my main worries with archers but it does show one flaw they have.

I attack probably 30 times a day..... ive noticed something changed.

In this pic my attack went horribly wrong partly because of the archers. I had 2 left and decided to test it out on the builders hut and spell factory. I pressed the screen and held it down instead of tapping the screen twice.
